Rohan Bopanna-Florin Mergea face Bryan brothers at ATP World Tour Finals

London: Indo-Romanian tennis combine of Rohan Bopanna and Florin Mergea, who will make their team debut at the prestigious ATP World Tour Finals, will open their campaign against American top seeds and defending champions Bob and Mike Bryan on Sunday.
Bopanna and Florin Mergea were the eighth and last pair to qualify for the $7 million indoor hard court tournament, to be played at The O2 Arena. Only the top-8 men's players/pairs qualify to play the year-ending event.
Apart from the Bryan brothers and Bopanna/Mergea, John Peers/Jamie Murray and Simone Bolelli/Fabio Fognini are also in Group Ashe-Smith while Pierre-Hugues Herbert/Nicolas Mahut, Ivan Dodig/Marcelo Melo, Marcin Matkowski/Nenad Zimonjic, Jean-Julien Rojer/Horia Tecau have been clubbed in Group Fleming/McEnroe.

London: World No. 1 and defending champion Novak Djokovic was drawn in the same group as six-time winner Roger Federer at the ATP World Tour Finals to be played from November 15-22.

Djokovic, bidding for a fifth title at the season finale next week, leads Group Stan Smith alongside Federer, Tomas Berdych and Kei Nishikori, Xinhua reported.
The 28-year-old Serb comes into the season-ending event on a 22-match winning streak, taking in four straight titles at the US Open, Beijing, Shanghai and Paris. Djokovic is a four-time winner of the Final Showdown, lifting the trophy in 2008 in Shanghai, before three successive victories in London from 2012-14

World No. 2 Andy Murray, competing at event for the seventh time, has been drawn in Group Ilie Nastase alongside Stan Wawrinka, Rafael Nadal and David Ferrer.
Murray is bidding to win the ATP World Tour Finals for the first time, having reached the semifinals three times previously. The Scot is looking to finish in the top 2 in the ATP world rankings for the first time in his career and currently holds a 1, 130-point lead over Federer.

So no, I am absolutely unexcited by WTF. That changes only if Rafa holds championship point. And as far as the persona non grata whose passport should have been rescinded 3 years ago and who should have been tried for sedition, I wish way worse than mere defeat or injury. He and his selfish mentor are from the kul of Vibhushan, Jaichand, Mir Jaffar, MA Jinnah etc.
