I don't know, I thought the height of the service judge seated makes some difference and the way he or she is seated, upright and not slumped or leaned back on the chair, and also they must make sure there's minimal parallax error by adjusting their eyes. I've noticed some service judges adjusting their sitting position every time the player serves. I guess for one whose height is just right, he or she just needs to sit properly to do their job correctly.
Goh Liu Ying has this excellent instinctive overhead drive from the front of the court that seems like a crouch defense but sometimes isn’t really and always leads to excellent interceptions that turn to winners
Yes if the the eyes are not at the level of the lines. No difference if the eyes are at the same level as the lines because there is now no parallax error. Thus shorter and taller service judges will have different body positions.
if CPS/GLY manages to topple CHN hotshots now, Owi-wimpysmasher/Butet better win tomorrow considering their 9-1 head-to-head.... otherwise would be real embarassment
Ahhh.. that livechat on BadmintonWorld.tv youtube channel will always have big mouth trolls anyway. I always close the livechat when I watch the matches over there.. Still, I dont think they make up the majority to be honest... They're probably only 1 out of 100 Indonesian fans who watching the match on that youtube channel... They just have big mouth and bombard that livechat with disgusting comments frequently, therefore, they appear to be majority..
Nice upset, beating both finalist from MAS Open. However I don't think they will have any chance of beating Tontowi/Natsir on homesoil. Just hope they can produce an exciting match.
Feels like there are too many weird camera angles these days. Gillian kept mentioning about Chan's bad serves but we barely could see any of it towards the end.
Pretty surprised by the result of the XD, but then again, Zheng played pretty bad. Seems like he's been figured out and his speed isn't enough to get by anymore...also Goh/Chan are having one of those two tournaments a year where they don't make lots of errors and get the attack all day long...will be interesting whether the Indonesian pair will negate that with their tactical style and good shot placement tomorrow, because there's no question who the faster pair with the better attack is going to be
