Akane Yamaguchi is just amazing for her age and experience. A baby faced player, very focused, runs all over the court and fears no one. Though short and rather on heavier side, she moves very well and never tires. Probably she can run for whole day. Amazing for her age and experience. Great future ahead !

 

Just when it seems Intanon is on the way out, she suddenly comes alive and turning the match around, amazing.

Akane appears to be showing the makings of a future world champion but admittedly at her young age and playing as an underdog with noting to lose , without any pressure and expectations, it's much easier for her to perform above herself. Let's see in future when she rises in stature and becomes the hunted rather than the hunter if she can deliver the goods.

Well, I've seen so many promising players come and go that I've become more reserved in my praise until the up-and-comers finally live up to their billing. Time will tell.

 

Intanon did well to come back and take G2. Intanon's endurance will be tested in G3, as far as stamina and court coverage is concerned, Akane is incredible.

 

I think Akane, sensing that Intanon has given a lot to win G2 and may be forced to slacken in G3, is wisely continuing to push hard,maintaining the pace and moving Intanon all over the court and taking the initiative to attack a bit more.

 

11-5 is a good lead for Akane, should be enough to take the match, I suppose.

 

Intanon has to try and finish the rally quickly.

 

But Akane's ability to throw everything back and some is to her advantage.

 

Akane just has to keep the shuttle in play for as long as possible to increase her chances of winning it.
