MD, Lee Yong Dae/Yoo Yeon Seong (KOR) v Chai Biao/Hong Wei (CHN) Head-to-head stats : 2-1 Second meeting of both pairs here after group stage tie when KOR hot fave surprisingly lost to CHN combo. Lee/Yoo should learn about their defeat against the in-form Chai/Hong. WD, Misaki Matsutomo/Ayaka Takahashi (JPN) v Tian Qing/Zhao Yunlei (CHN) H-2-H : 2-9 The multiple champion Tiang/Zhao is clear favourite to add their title collection, slim chance for JPN pair to eliminate on-fire Chinese duo. MS, Chen Long (CHN) v Hans Kristian Vittinghus (DEN) H-2-H : 8-1 Dream comes true for Vittinghus to cruise into finale of this big event and it will be perfect ending if he can claim top honour. Chen Long is strong contender to end this year with high note, let's see whether the motivated Danish MS will upset the World Champion WS, Tai Tzu Ying (TPE) v Sung Ji Hyun (KOR) H-2-H : 4-4 The really balanced encounter and both of them are beyond expectation to check into finale. Second final for young TPE sensation after last year defeated by Li Xuerui, she doesn't want waste good chance to nail WS crown this time. XD, Zhang Nan/Zhao Yunlei (CHN) v Liu Cheng/Bao Yixin (CHN) H-2-H : 4-0 ZZ is on the top and will retain their 2011 title. However, superb performance by Liu/Bao during this SS finals to dispose two elite pairs, Ahmad/Natsir and defending champion Fischer/Pedersen twice en route to last round. THANKS Clely . I did not know that even semifinalist will get the same money as that of runner up. $40,000 is quite a good amount. Srikanth and saina both will get the same amount. My pick for today. MS - unpredictable, I go for under dog.. go go Hans kristian WS - SUNG JI HYUN MD -LYD/ YYS WD - AT/MM
Yes. That is quite interesting. A change of distribution to motivate each of the semifinalists to really go for the big prize? Kwun, I can't see Zhang and Zhao losing to their juniors but anything is possible before the match.
Even I was wondering... If the finalists considered as 1 and 2, definitely semifinalists have to be 3 and 4(even that considered as joint 3rd as you mentioned.. though I think rank 3 goes to the player who lost to the title Winner). How come they find 3 and 4 apart from semifinalists?. Really confusing... Any insights....?!!!!!
Anybody has the live Youtube link? Seems like it's not showing up although on previous days the live streams are available.
3rd and 4th place in the group. Just curious, can anyone else see the stream on the BWF YouTube page? I can't find it.
Thank you CLELY for being so consistent, despite INA not having anyone in the finals, not even Towi and Butet. :crying:
MD already started, but there is no link on BWF youtube channel. Is there any way that I can watch it?
livestream anyone? Why is BWF not broadcasting the finals when they broadcasted play offs and even semi-fianls
http://videostream.dn.ua/videopage/videoPage.php?g=c2J2b2JoK2F0Y3Zs*bmhZ&c=en&i=eWlhaXVidGd1bA№f№f It's only 15 frames per second but it's still OK.
