Why are you commenting such BS? MF never asked for LCW to retire, or at least it wasn't reported. Even the version told by LCW is that MF asked Hendrawan IF the injury would mean LCW's retirement. There has been no reliable report on MF wanting LCW to retire, so please stop regurgitating that false statement over and over.
Some of these home players who lost are making it clear what they lack: mental fortitude. They always seem to choke after seeming to be in control of the game. For example, the WD pair who lost to Bao Yixin and Yu Xiaohan when they were like 19-15 (I think?) up in the third game. In a match point at extra points, a shuttle from the opponents was coming weak but going wide, yet they decide to smash it and was somehow saved by BYX. How the crowd reacted to that point... Finally, the way they lost that match, sheesh. Tonight we had another case wherein the home pair in question was up 15-9 in the decider against Chen/Jia and would eventually lose. CQC was even injured in this game! This seems to be a trend for MAS players lately: Goh/Tan at OG final, Goh/Chan at AE. Coaching is responsible for this. We could include LCW here for all the close major matches he's lost, but as we all know he's over it, used it as determination and is towering over the singles players right now. He's his country's strongest suit; I'm picking him to win this tournament.
This is why the coaches need to train the players properly, to NOT let their players choke. GJW leads a bit vs CYF, then she chokes and never stop choking for an entire match. Coaches should do their job properly to build up the players.
Without LCW as the frontrunner, BAM would have been so ashamed because none of their players pass R2. Their own World No.6 and World No.9 choked so darn hard despite winning the first set. People should respect this 34 year old man because he loves his sport and want to make his country proud despite people asking him to retire.
Nothing in that source suggests that someone asked FOR LCW to retire. The question WHETHER he's going to is an entirely different one.
Lin seems to be in better form...although Cristie has been said to be more consistent too. I want to see Lin win but I vote for the youngster.

Lin in form? He had a razor thin escape" against BSP who himself isn't in great form (he never is, that's another thing). And after AE, I believe anybody can stretch him all the way, as he has tonplay everything very economically. Always calculating about next matches, next tourneys. Dang the ageing process Anyways Jojo is my fave INA player, looking forward to a great match
I'm guessing this isn't anywhere on the internet, but after two fantastically bad choke performances by MAS WD in the past couple days, I'm really curious which players fare really well in 'close matches' and which fare very poorly in close matches.
LOL. *Yawn* The whole Malaysia knows MF asked LCW to quit after Rio *yawn*. If you (like my Malaysian friends) already pay taxes to pay these guys salary, buy products to sponsor them, and support your players by watching them in league and international matches , you get to talk like they do. What's MF excuse know, everyone's been busy massaging LCW when he's tired, mopping the floor for his sweat, feeding him shuttle 3 on 1, getting his towel and water? Ohh wait a minute , they don't even train together.
Very accurate and reliable information. "The whole of .... just knows, man. We just know." Worst case scenario is that MF's ultimate 'excuse' is going to be "Malaysian MS players are s**t and so's their Association"....so in your place I'd wish MF a whole lot of luck because the 8 years before he took this job certainly didnt look too rosy for Malaysian badminton.
The whole Malaysia know who lah. Do you understand Malay, Cheung? "This is the end of his career" - MF.
Best case if MF go back to Denmark and join hand with Viktor Axelsen and Hans Vitinghus. They will surpass China in the future and I will watch it eating Danish cookies.
LD knows how to deal with youngsters, I guess he defeated 2 INA MS easily at the Swiss open weeks ago. Esp Jo idolizes him, maybe he will get nervous. Time to shine JoJo.
Of the 5 matches on tv, I am interested in match 2,3 and maybe 5 (if LD loses the 1st game like he always does these days).
