LOL! We have to be realistic, he's # 20ish right now, will take about a year of winning (2007) to get to the top plus a cushion of another year of playing on the circuit to get up to his full potential (2006). So I say 2008 is the Year of The Chen Jin. :p

And it'll probably be Year of the Chen Jin for at least 4-5 years. At least I hope. :D

To prove they are No.1 or one of the best players, I think they shall dare to face any of their opponents no matter they are in the good or bad condition.
They should try their best in the match UNLESS they are really INJURED or SICK!!!

My personal observation : Lin Dan and Taufik is a bit arrogant especially Lin Dan is a bit tyrant. I only admire their game skills. I think a good player should learn to be humble & polite.
I prefer Bao Chun Lai & Chen Jin. Both of them are cordial

So many people like Chen Jin, amazing!

Chen Jin came from the same town as Yang yang, Zhao Jianhua, Sun Jun...
I lived in that city when I was a little kid. But from my close observation, I don't like Chen Jin that much. There is nothing wrong with Chen Jin, if there is anything wrong, that could be my prejudices.

Chen Jin is a nice guy, but he does not have the charisma of a superstar. Further, he looks not that healthy, at least looks much older than his age. What you guys think? I do think Lin Dan and Taufic are two natural born stars.

Hi all, I've been looking high and low for a schedule of tonight's matches. No luck but I did stumble across a bunch of highlight clips from yesterday's games. They include matches that weren't on Court 3 (ie not televised).

    Check them out:

I used this handy tool to interpret some of the titles I couldn't guess at:

For example, this is the Bao/Lee match and this is Mia vs. Xie.

Exactly! :D CJ is a nice guy. I for one don't want a charismatic "superstar". I want a humble, unassuming, nice guy to be # 1.

CJ is my guy. At least I'm betting on him. I hope and pray he stays true to the path. :)
