China has 17 MS players in the draw! That's occupying over 25% of the draw, and so if they don't come out outta that with the gold medal, then something's wrong!

But hopefully some of the Chinese youngsters will do well, especially (future #1) Chen Jing. There could possibly be quite a few upsets in the early stages of this event!

springcoming, so why's Bao CL your idol? Like his style, his looks, or is it because you're from Hunan as well?

Take a quick glance at the draw. What is the toughest ¼? Base only on the seeding, upper ¼ will be the toughest quarter.

Seeds group 1, (1,2,3,4) no random drawing. Direct placement one for each quarter.

Seeds group 2, (5,6,7,8) Random drawing one seed for each quarter. Seed 6 was drawn to first quarter.

Seed group 3, (9 – 16.) Random drawing two seeds for each quarter. Seeds 10 and 11 were drawn to first quarter.

So, first quarter gets second highest seed from group 2 and 2nd and 3rd highest seeds from group 3. My conclusion is first quarter is the toughest quarter.

yeah, seeding doesn't mean much.

haha. i am a boy from beijing but not Hunan province.
i like bao chunlai because i was impressed by his feature showing on the court. when he won the demark open crown two years ago, his baby face is full of charm and confidence at that time!
and i hold that he will win the olympic champion in 2004 or 2008 or maybe both...

btw, chen jin is my second idol:D to be honest he is not so strong as bao or lin at present. but i am sure he will do something in one or two years. and this china open is a good chance for him to show! his first two round oppnents are weak. and if he could beat the defending champion wong choong hann......

the ms draw in china open is really full of chinese boys. but i should say that many of them are not so good such as hu yun, li yun or qiu yanbo. but everyone should pay attention to chen jin, gong weijie and zhu weilun who has the power to beat everyone in the world. now please allow me to do a predicting work of the ms event:

yes, that is too crazy. i hope that won't happen. but...
taufik and lee quit this event....
it is hard to find others to stop the chinese.
what's more, there are too many chinese players in the draw, when a player from other country manage to beat one chinese, he might meet another stronger one in the later round...that is terrible.
