Ok, too many All England, World Championship, and Uber Cup victories to prove it. Korea, Japan, INA, and USA are the other lesser powerhouses of the 20th century...
Mixed Team and XD... well mixed results. You can argue Korea was the Sudirman Cup multiple winner back then, so they were surely a powerhouse. But throughout the 20th century, the XD titles mainly went to the Europeans from England and Denmark. So they were powerhouses too. Overall, those coutries were surely better than China's XD in the 20th Century...
