Erk, I thought Koo/Wong beat Tsai/Cheng last night .... pls clarify.

Anyway, still agree that Sudket/Saralee will win tonight.

Ok, ok, got the link already, Koo/Wong did indeed lose.

Like I said earlier, Koo/Wong might as well forget XD and concentrate on MD/WD instead.

This is from another thread (about New Ranking System). From my calculations, if LCW beats Boonsak today, he will be the No 1 next week.

My Predictions

MEN'S SINGLES
Lin Dan vs Rajiv Ouseph -- easy one for the Chinese

Lee Hyun Il vs Chen Jin -- if experience counts, then the Korean has an edge, but Chen Jin's form is very good. The Chinese to win.

Kendrick Lee Yen Hui vs Chen Hong -- as I mentioned earlier, it will be a major upset if Lee can defeat the Chinese player.

Boonsak Ponsana vs Lee Chong Wei (MATCH OF THE ROUND) -- the Malaysian's first test in the open, after 2 easy matches. He should win yet again.

MEN'S DOUBLES
Fu Haifeng/Cai Yun vs Chew Choon Eng/Hong Chieng Hun -- the second Malaysian opponent for Fu/Cai. They must be sick of facing Malaysians by now. But more to come!

Gan Teik Chai/Mohd Zakry Abdul Latif vs Albertus Susanto Njoto/Yohan Wiratama Hadikusumo -- the Indonesian born Hong Kong pair has had a few good tournaments so far, this time yet again reaching QF. They will be in the top 15-20 soon. However, Gan/Abdul Latif themselves have also improved this year and they should prevail!

Jung Jae Sung/Lee Yong Dae vs Rian Sukmawan/Eng Hian (MATCH OF THE ROUND) -- Eng Hian needs to be in top form to beat the young and fast Korean pair. It will be a minor shock if they can achieve that.

Hendry Saputra Kurniawan/Hendra Wijaya vs Chan Chong Ming/Koo Kien Keat -- Chan/Koo is now world no 2...and they should win!

WOMEN'S SINGLES
Zhang Ning vs Yao Jie -- the Chinese player to win.

Wang Chen vs Pi Hongyan (MATCH OF THE ROUND) -- a battle of seniors...and my money is on the French player.

Hirayama Yu vs Xu Huaiwen -- good news for the German player...she's now officially world no 1 and she should win!

Chien Yu-Chin vs Xie Xingfang -- Xie has been shaky since the new scoring system has been implemented. Chien can take advantage and create another shock in front of the home crowd.

WOMEN'S DOUBLES
Gao Ling/Huang Sui vs Kim Min Jung/Hwang Yu Mi -- straight forward victory for the Chinese pair.

Wong Pei Tty/Chin Ee Hui vs Saralee Thoungthongkam/Sathinee Jankrajangwong -- expect a thriller...and the Malaysian pair has a slight edge.

Du Jing/Yu Yang vs Chien Yu-Chin/Cheng Wen-Hsing (MATCH OF THE ROUND) -- the young Chinese pair is fast and attack-minded. They have beaten the home pair in straight sets 2 mths ago and are on a roll right now.

Pan Pan/Tian Qing vs Lee Kyung Won/Lee Hyo Jung -- the Korean pair to win.

MIXED DOUBLES
Zhang Jun/Gao Ling vs Lee Yong Dae/Hwang Yu Mi -- no problem for Zhang/Gao.

Nova Widianto/Lilyana Natsir vs Hendry Saputra Kurniawan/Li Yujia -- similarly, Nova/Butet should prevail!

Tsai Chia-Hsin/Cheng Wen-Hsing vs Sudket Prapakamol/Saralee Thoungthongkam (MATCH OF THE ROUND) -- the home crowd will be cheering for Tsai/Cheng, but, Sudket/Saralee should be too powerful for them!

Xu Chen/Yu Yang vs Lee Jae Jin/Lee Hyo Jung -- the Korean pair to win!

A long rally ended with Yao Jie sealing the pt to lead 11-7 at the interval of the second set. This was despite Zhang Ning leading 7-5 at one point. It could go into rubber.

Yao continued her good performance as she extended her lead to 16-10. Zhang Ning looked tired...

Are you watching it live? Is live scoring working? Keep us posted.:) :) :)

Come on Singapore! Best of Luck to Kendrick, Saputra Bros and our XD pair of Hendry and Li Yujia! :)

An incredible end to the second set. Yao had such a huge lead at 19-13, but, Zhang proved that she's still better as she pushed Yao to deuce. We finally saw the first time the score went to 30, as Zhang won 30-28, after a smash by Yao went out. Zhang Ning won in 2 close sets 21-19, 30-28.

In the other court, Wang Chen is still involved in a battle with Pi Hongyan. Earlier, I think Lee Jae Jin/Lee Hyo Jung also won their match.

The live telecast is now Tsai Chia-Hsin/Cheng Wen-Hsing vs Sudket Prapakamol/Saralee Thoungthongkam. Can the local pair win?

that's incredible. i didn't expect to see more than a couple of 30-28 in my life time. but we now have at least a couple of them already.

Probably the worst live scoring that I have seen...can't see anything..

There's NO LIVESCORE available from the official website. However, there is live telecast (Dongsen TV) which you can view via Mikemike's website. Thanks to him! It has been a smooth telecast so far....good quality!
