Ok umm I have two questions and the first one mayyyy be a little wierd....

1.) If I go to this will I be the only white person there??? I love badminton but will people look down on me because im not asian? I know this is realy racist but I dont mean it in a bad way... I just dont wanna go and feel like im not taken seriously.

2.) If I take part in the super 7 circuit and im 15 now, but I turn 16 halfway through the season... will I have 2 play U19 or can I continue playing U16 untill the end of the season?

    1) Probably not...there are a number of non-Asian players but you never know. I don't "race" would matter. Maybe being underestimated is a good thing ;)

    2) I believe that your age is calculated based on a date not when the tournament was being held. I could be way off-base here.

If you go, you will be one of the......

    1) junior and adult badminton players in the tournament. Glad you are joining us for the first time. This is [one of ] the largest Junior B tournament in the Super 7 Circuit. Last year , we have over 350 players took part.

    2) As per entry form....players .......qualify by age as of December 31, 2007. (e.g. birth date Dec. 10, 1995, player has to play U14 not U12). Basically, if you were born in 1992 or 1993, you are U16, unless your birthday is on Dec 31.

Hope I have answered your questions and see you at the tournament!!

qualify by age as of December 31, 2007
    - this means on December 31, 2007 if you are under the age of 16, then you can play U16. This will be your last year to play in U16.
