Just orderd some of these, I will let you know how they are when they arrive, Check out his web site. http://www.davegiles.co.uk/blog/custom-made-badminton-side-supports-posts
Michal's side supports were the best investment for my stringing maschine beside the load spreader and clamps. They are well and stable made and make stringing a enjoyment. No blocked holes anymore and alot of space to thread difficult situations during stringing. They are worth every penny I paid.
I have a question about these supports maybe you could answer. I see some picture of these and it looks like supports sit the racket up a lot higher than my normal side supports which run in line with the racket lying flat on top. Is it time consuming to line the racket up when mounting? given that i tighten 12 and 6 oclock clamp first then go to tighten side supports but they are higher then have to redo 12 and 6 untill I get the perfect height or what the deal?
Mine always line up perfectly the first time. Much, much better than the Pros Pro ones they replaced.
Lets Michal know what your equipment is (stringing machine) and he will send you the correct height ones. I tend to tighten the 12 and 6 then tighten the side supports then recheck the 12 and 6, never had an issue yet . Cheers! daveg
No arms in the way of clamps at the side, no hidey holes, I get it they look great. How is there more room underneath, just out of interest? just because side arms are out the way more?
Right brilliant thanks, some of them looked tall but obviously they would not be the same ones he would send for my machine got it.
As promised the supports arived today and strung the first racket & I have to say they are great to use, what a difference they make so much easier, no blocked holes. My advise to anyone who has not got these yet, get some now.
