No. But they seemed pretty normal to me now that I see them.

The mid age ladies behind me keep being awed by Hendra's shot. Haha not that I can blame them.

Uh oh. Wahyu/ Ade seem to play better today against Ahsan/Hendra. Better in defense and attacking.

JOJ back to his best ?! Perhaps Lin Dan can take some solace that he didn't actually fare too badly against JOJ who today edged out CTC, the newly minted IO Super 1000 titlist.

Apparently, it's getting harder to perform well in back-to-back tournaments, esp when the two events are top tier. Not only CTC appeared to show signs of accumulated fatigue, Kantahon Wangcharoen wasn't as fast and furious all the way against Momota earlier.

Admittedly, Momota adopted the right strategy controlling the net, mostly playing to Kantaphon's front court area and seizing more of the initiative to attack first, thus denying the young upstart many attacking opportunities. Very well played match by Momota, uncharacteristically more aggressive than normal, yet still consistent in the quality of his shotmaking, outstanding.

Spoke too soon. Ahsan/Hendra defended better now and took G2. Rubber set.

    And yay Ko/Shin is next!!

Interesting point to note is her pattern of losses. For example, if you look at her h2h record against PVS, she has won 2 games by huge margins and the rest she lost by a margin of more than 5 points, with a couple of close games (must be UE prone games). This is an outright indicator of her mental conditioning- she can only win if she gets herself a huge lead or will just throw the game away. One thing most of the top guns do is stay close to your opponent’s score throughout the game, even if you don’t play to the best of your capabilities.
