I suppose the SC being a team event, the name of the country is more important that the player and the country's team uniform should be worn. It would therefore mean that the same set of uniform in terms of the same colours, etc, should be the norm.
Kelly Morgan was once quite dominating among the Commonwealth countries. But nowadays, losing out to other players.
Kelly Morgan hasn't been playing internationally since Singapore Open in november (beaten my Zhou Mi in second round), she was ranked #16 in the world at that moment. She lost 11-6 11-8 to Zhang Ning in the last 16 in the Olympics, not so bad against the future winner... Her best recent world ranking was 13th in january last year (come-back after being pregnant). Before being pregnant, she reached the top 10 for the first time in 1998 then reached the 5th world ranking at her best (end 2000, beginning 2001). I think she hasn't had a so bad career just like that...
Yep, they're soo much quicker How's you're commentary btw 7? (on eurosport). I'm going nuts here with all these ancient stories, it's nice to hear but not during a match .. can hardly hear them playing Chicken!! they're defending so far back
Boo! For the first time in my life I can watch international badminton live on tv (as opposed to on comp) but I get a crappy game. The dutch really have no chance, grumble. I wonder if I can get out of going out tonight so I can watch SC all night, I managed to leave early to watch the Bao/Agus match and what I assume was a replay of the XXF match. Oh yeah, hi all, I'm still alive.
First Set won 15-8 by KKK/CCM for malaysia agaisnt the netherlands (Sorry if my posts leave the scores a little delayed... im using the tournament websites live scores to track the match. :crying: )
I'm not watching the matches , but my father is recording them on eurosport so I'll only see them when I can recuperate them...

Yes, against Japan. Whoever wins will be in Group 1 for the next Sudirman Cup. For Malaysia, Japan will be almost like Holland. Malaysia will assume losses in WS and WD, but Malaysia is stronger in MS and MD. So, the tie will, once again, go down to XD, where Malaysia has the slight edge.
Very surprising to see Thailand field their B Team against England!! (this tie is important to avoid relegation) Otherwise all the other teams have fielded their best team, except for Indonesia...
and now the match agaisnt japan is confirmed, with malaysia winning the Mens Singles, Doubles, and Mixed Doubles, agaisnt holland, guaranteeing them at least a 3-2 win against the netherlands... only one more step to group one for malaysia!
