    SF Prediction

    Men's Singles SF

    Dan LIN vs Kenneth JONASSEN
Lin Dan should not have any problems beating the local favorite. Lin can take the match in straight sets if he continues his form.

Chunlai BAO vs Chong Wei LEE
Lee Chong Wei should win this one if his gameplan works well today. I will expect a strong challenge from Bao who is avenging his loss in IO final.

    Men's Doubles SF

Markis KIDO / Hendra SETIAWAN vs Kien Keat KOO / Boon Heong TAN
Another great match to watch. The MAS pair has the phsycological edge but expecting a strong challenge from the INA pair who has never beaten the former before.

Jens ERIKSEN / Martin LUNDGAARD HANSEN vs Haifeng FU / Yun CAI
A battle between two former world number ones and another close match. The CHN pair will win if they can execute their attacking games right from the beginning. But the DEN veterans, with the homeground support, will be all out to get into the final.

    Women's Singles SF

    Ning ZHANG vs Chen WANG
A rematch of WC SF and a interesting match to watch. An in-form Wang Chen, who has not dropped a game so far, should beat a struggling Zhang Ning, who has been stretched to rubber sets in all her previous matches.

    Lin ZHU vs Lan LU
A rematch of WC SF and the result will turn to be the same in Zhu's favor again.

    Women's Doubles SF

Gail EMMS / Donna KELLOGG vs Wei YANG / Jiewen ZHANG
The CHN pair is the heavy favorite and they should take it in straight sets.

Tingting ZHAO / Yang YU vs Kyung Won LEE / Hyo Jung LEE
The KOR pair has the edge over the unstable CHN pair.

    Mixed Doubles SF

Sudket PRAPAKAMOL / Saralee THOUNGTHONGKAM vs Nathan ROBERTSON / Gail EMMS
The THA pair is tipped to win the title after their impressive win over the top seeds in the first round.

Zhongbo XIE / Yawen ZHANG vs Hanbin HE / Yang (F) YU
It could be a tight match but Xie/Zhang should prevail.

Wish her speedy and full recovery. I'm so happy for MAS WD and their coach in their breakthrough victory over CHN WD for the first time. They have the skills to win but not quite the belief. Now the belief is there and they need to work on their tactics to win again. There's no other way to shatter the confidence of CHN except by taking risk to dictate play.Once CHN's confidence is shaken, they cannot play their A game. It's called 'deactivating."
