BYX looked the most stressed of the 4 players on court.

 

Lovely deception by YY. CS was expecting the smash but it came back soft and she is stranded. 15-15

 

BYX went for the driving game but was comprehensively beaten. 16-15

 

Yup, BYX is not really her usual self. Maybe she felt "threatened" having to face YY at the net. If BYX can plays her creative game, then BYX/CS has a chance. 19-15 to the favourite.

 

Once again, BYX's lack of power is her downfall. YY reads her like a book and pushes to the open court. 18-15

I feel BYX feels a little intimidated by her seniors and also a little guilty for letting her partner down

 

Gosh, a game BYX would love to forget. She was the weakest link by a country mile. YY/WXL wins 21-15

 

Lets see how the 2nd game progress. First point to the "youngster"

The Germans have come a long way with Marc Zwiebler (MS) and Juliane Schenk (WS) making to the finals of a premiere super series finals and in Indonesia at that.
It is a first for the German MS and WS players to be in this lofty position together and obviously Germany must be doing something right with their training.
No one would have predicted this situation at the beginning of the tournament and kudos to these two gutsy players

 

The senior pair is gifting points like it's Christmas. 6-3

BXY is not challenging YY at the net, which I thought was BYX strength (at the net).
