Probably that is how KJ gave impression to viewers on court. When he is off court i mean not playing, normal life.. he is ok.

he's kind to fans. my friends were part of the swarm that encircled him after the matches said that he really tried to sign as many autographs as possible, and to have as many pictures taken with him. i recall the security people getting impatient with him :D

I think a lot of LCW fans don't like KJ because of Singapore Open 2004 ....

Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan of LCW, but I have no problem with KJ.

I don't think Kenneth is bad tempered, you might be confusing his great passion for the game that shows as anger when he looses a point or does an unforced error, it just show his love for the sport.
I remember how he is sure to shakes hands and even embraces with his opponent ever after very disappointing defeats, like 2003 WC match againt XXZ, after a marathon match of 3 sets he went straight ahead to congratulate XXZ, same on his 2004 Olymics loss to Chen Hong, I'm sure there are plenty of examples.
he is definetaly one of my favorite players

It was a good tournament, and a good advert for badminton.

As exposure (and prize money) increase, it should mean stronger line ups each year.

Asia suffered from having to field the Asuncion's i think, a good pair, but certainly not one of the best in the world, a compromise to keep the home crowds interested i guess.

Would be good to see Lee Chong Wei for Asia next time, and perhaps Peter Gade for Europe next time.
