    Seems to be a fashion to explain for the one who loses the game.
    Now turn for Gade. :)

    1, PG has not recovered from his injury;
    2, victory over TH brings confidence back to CH;
    3, CH simply plays better.

    Don't forget CH was #1 in the world for a while before. People just wrote him off completely.

    1, this is not crazy. Should it be a surprise for PG to lose?
    2, possibly CH will beat LD, as he did that several times before. But that wont be easy.:p

    I don't just mean PG, I mean all the players people expected to win. And yeah I found it quite surprising :(. Although I'll admit I didn't have the highest confidence in Taufik this time.

    PG made far too many unforced errors in the 3rd set. It was like he just gave up. It's a pity. I wanted to see him play in the semis. Now it's going to be a Chinese affair.

    Agree with these 3 points:
    1. his trainning program could have "lightenned" due to his injury
    2. really agree with point 2
    3. according to guys who watch the match, CH was better today :(

    :crying: :crying: :crying: i'm so depressed.
    Poor PG, he deserves to be world champion, at least once in his carreer.
    I really think that PG and LCW seem to have the same fate. never manage to win major title (og, wc, tc, sc)
    :( so sad. Good luck Peter! Be back stronger next year :)

    (sorry, my english is not very good :eek: )

    But coaches/players still need to analyze the loss so that they know how to prepare for future matches.

    Of course, we're not national players or coaches (except for few exclusive Badminton Central members like JR, Thomas Laybourne, Eva and a few exceptions), but badminton lovers would find it interesting to try seeing things from professional players point of view.

    LHI? I have no confidence in him. Even if he mamages to beat BCL, definitely he will be crashed by either CH or LD.

    I think in the 3rd set PG was more tired than CH and thus was making all the errors. And CH seemed very fit even after his energy sapping win over TH yesterday. And in fact he played very well today, beautiful net shots coupled with very sharp smashes.
