    Interesting thought..

hmm, if like you say "he let his guard down in the 2nd game", then why didn't he stepped it up in the 3rd set and take care of business??..you meant, Taufik actually thought he still has enough gas left in the tank for the 3rd set??.. ;)

I don't know if he is a smoker but i totally agree with you. He lacked of match practice after he got married!
Nothing really impressive happened yesterday except those 2, 3 times back hand smash!
Come on TH!!! Pull yourself together!!!

true, it's nothing to be taken serious...but if i'm not mistaken, i actually heard those words from Taufik, on record(yes, during the TC), nothing obscured...If not mistaken, they even had sound/video clips for other player(s) as well(in the IBF official website)...and if not mistaken, even saw a brief video clip of a reporter asking Taufik after his match against LinDan and he said those words back(more like a "challenge" to LinDan)...;)

haha CH regain his confidence and made less silly unforce error :p
To be honest CH was invincible in 3rd set! Taufik's winner shot (ie. his deadly cross court smash coming at 300kph!) were all nicely defended by CH!:D

I guess IBF will be having the last laugh because of TH's exit in WC.
So any punishment for walking out of the HKO would not be so significant. TH is mortal afterall.:D

hmm, so you're saying Taufik wasn't capable of regaining his confidence or "let his guard up again" after the 2nd set??..even like you said in your other post "Taufik let his guard down in the 2nd"??..And if you said he wasn't able to do that, why do you think so??There must be a reason, right?? I mean he's been playing this sport for a long time, knows when to "let his guard down", so i'm sure he knows when to "let his guard up" again, correct??.. ;)

No no~~ I am saying he shouldn't have let CH come back in the 2nd game lol...:p
Go back and check how he played in Olympic 2004 and last year WC! And since u were there last year u should know hahaa :D He was all attacking and no mercy..
This time watching him I just felt different about Taufik, he was fooling alot in 2nd game.. He turn ON his winning mode when CH reached game point, however it was too late... lol
    CH was MAN ON FIRE!!!

hmm, what did you feel different abt??..If CH was playing as hard to win also, does that mean Taufik felt he can overcome CH in the 3rd set by "fooling alot in the 2nd game/let his guard down" and suddenly can "turn it on in the 3rd set??...so you think Taufik was still letting CH creep up on him in the 3rd set and play the score tight til the end??..
now question for you, even if you "feel" Taufik did let CH come back in the 2nd game, why wasn't he able to "finish off" CH in the 3rd game and play him seriously??remember knowing he and CH are basically quite spent already by start of 3rd set..

In the Olympics and last yr, yes, he was ready to play...Want to know the difference was?? Check all the reports and media news of him(Taufik) prior to coming to this yr's WC(that's a hint for you).;)

hehe just finished watching 2nd game!
CH definatly up his game.. but Taufik look really cruisy to me... theres no desperation in his game...
Obviously he couldn't finish CH 3rd game like I say CH was really invincible it looks like Taufik is playing against himself lol

..so you mean "there's no desperation in TH's game" in the 2nd or 3rd sets or both??..why do you feel so??..why do you feel or think CH was "really invincible" all of a sudden against TH in the 3rd set??..
Last, do you think or feel Taufik still wants to win in the 3rd set?? If you say yes, why did he fell short of winning the 3rd set??.. ;)

I will be waiting upon your answer esp. to the last question most likely in the morning when i get online again..;)

I think TH had accepted that he loss to a better man as he applaud CH after shaking hand, though it may argue if he is better but then CH could also push his game to another level.......well will be a lot of if and could
