Indonesia !!!

Indonesia going to get the MS and MD titles ! Although there's no Olympic gold medallist Taufik, Indonesia should stay hopeful with bronze medallist Sony.

Alven and Luluk are one of the favourites for the title, especially when the South Koreans, Malaysians, Cai and Fu and Eriksen and Ljungaard arent here.

He will need to beat the chinese armada for that! ;)

Don't forget World Champions Lars and JR there... :)

Is that a new pair??? I'm curious to see how they perform...

Me too! Two singles players playing mixed?

maybe its just a bit of fun for them. they might just take a half court each!!
(are they a pair in real life?-thought I might start a rumour!)

LOL :p
It's possible actually, I remember hearing something like that but I'm not quite sure if it was them...

Bao Chunlai is conspicuously missing from the MS lineup...
That's not too surprising considering he is not entering Denmark Open either (he wouldn't come to Europe ONLY for German Open)

I don't know why he isn't playing in these Opens though, when all the other chinese MS are playing...

they might be doing what the Chinese have done. let the single players play in the doubles draw so they get the warm up. i think i remmber seeing Zhang Ning and Zhou Mi entering WD for that purpose.

or maybe not. :)

It isn't just a warm up according to the article that Toastie posted a link to above... :)

i thought chinese players dont usually play in germany open.... 2* only right?
i thought they will skip this and prepare for the 6* china open

I don't see any INA players on the line up.
Shortage of Fund, maybe.

BTW, Jonas/Lars is out, lost to Simon Archer/Robert Blair.

Like Toastie posted they already played together in the Dutch Open (for the 1st time) and to follow up on your rumour: where there's smoke there's fire ;) (really there is! :D )
