Hi everyone,

This is the first Singapore Open I'm missing in 4 years (and will probably be the first in a series of Opens over the next few years, if things work out the way they do). Sorry I couldn't be around to join all of you but thankfully, all of you had a wonderful time playing badminton, enjoying local food etc.

It's always nice to have different people from so many places united by the use of a common website and meeting up to do something they like together. Thanks to the power of Kwun, BC and the internet. And three cheers to Loh for his unflagging enthusiasm!

Thank you Adel. We missed you! You could have been an excellent F&B ambassador for us and Kwun, Chan and others could have been better introduced to the special local menus which you so articulately posted some time ago. Yes, indeed it is amazing that so many of us met for the first time just because of badminton and the internet through BC.com!

Don't know when you'll be back, but if you do, let us know so that the gang can meet again to celebrate your return!
