Hey hkhung, what do you mean by "...making a little people upset."? I can only guessed you are trying to say that LCW has offended some influential people, hence dropping in the ranking.

Your explanation makes a lot of sense. No wonder my handicap dropped from -8 to -4 in a week. Capt Hung must be very upset with me smashing his body.

Wahhhh, how dare you smash at our beloved Capt Hung. Go do 100 push ups. :D

yschin, your son is very good in single. Any consideration to turn him into a Pro? or are you and wife like every Asian parents, "Sports no future, have to study Meidicine". :p

Hi BadFever,
Kids have the say these days. Not the parents anymore.

I agreed with you too, if yschin's son does not play competively in the near future, it's a waste of talent and previous dedications...:(

All the best in whatever he chooses.

Kee

Badfever - I don't know how to answer such a "serious" topic. We better leave that out of this thread. Let's leave the noble cause of saving lives to another forum.
Anyway, many thanks to you and Fuji for the compliment and encouragement. If that comes from a pretty little girl his age , I think he will replace Micheal Jordan and Ronaldinho posters on the wall with LD and LCW.

HKHung- A little slipped up here and there happen all the time. I do enjoy your posts - keep it alive. Your enthusiasm is very much admired.

Just as i have not check the forum since last friday, things in the forum have been going crazy with my name mentioned everywhere!

Had anyone been checking out the ranking on the badmintoncentral title page? LCW must be making a little people upset.

Well, I mean he make his supporters upset by dropping in ranking while losing in games. But it seems you guys have got a conspiracy work up as followed.

I think 40 is about the most that a person of my size can do. Love to see any of us do more than 60 in one go.

Go do 100 push ups.

Well, i don't know about sports but badminton as a career is just not enough money as compared to soccer or basketball. Even AFL player might end up making more in wages than badminton cos badminton depends on prize, AFL if you get injured for a long time like James Hird (sorry Bombers fans), you get paid.

Any luck on getting paid while not playing for badminton?

Another CCC!

Hi Chris & everyone@CCC! :)

As I was on the way to Uni this morning, guess what I saw?
There is another CCC - Classic Colour Copying. (it's on Elizabeth Street) ;)
I got so excited and couldn't wait to share it with you all~!!! :p
hehe~ now I gotta run for my 10:00 lecutre now! :D
For those attending the coach/social tonight, enjoy & have fun~!
I will see you guys soon on Friday night!

Cheers... LilyC

LilyC, with respect to another CCC (classic colour copying) sighting. Did you take a picture of it with your mobile phone?

While i was in Hong Kong, I passed a boutique by the name of - u guessed it "Lily". Cos there was another girl - Lily Gao play on friday (when Chris coaching was in Box Hill near end of 2005), hence i took a snap of the boutique starightaway.

Maybe i would show you that picture some time soon!

CCC = Chiranthi & Chiang Combination

Hi LilyC,

I was thinking this, just the other day, that perhaps Chiranthi and you will become "The CCC" - The Chiranthi and Chiang Combination, one of the greatest Doubles Combinations playing in the Badminton Tournament Arena one day.

So you see... yet another CCC, and your name is importantly involved in it.:)

Cheers... chris@ccc

Hi Chris! :)

Yeah~~~ feel so special now! Muahahaha... :p
Ho ho ho... "one of the greatest" - that would be good!!! It's highly unlikely... but I don't mind dreaming about it! :D

See you and the rest CCCers tomorrow night!!! ;)

Hi LilyC,

We thought you were going straight home to bed. You could have joined us for supper.

At supper, we learned that Lisa-C is doing drugs at uni too, like you.:)

No, Lisa-C is doing a PhD at uni, reseaching in drugs to fight against cancer. You are also doing pharmaceutical studies at uni, so perhaps you and Lisa-C have a lot to talk about drugs.

Thank you for the pics of CCC. It is actually quite the same to our CCC logo, except ours is all blue in colour.

Yes, we enjoyed our "feast" last night, as you can read from our SUPPERTIME REPORT.
Hope you can join us next week.

Cheers... chris@ccc

Hi kwongj,

Welcome to our CCC's thread.

It was good that you, Laurie & Lisa joined us at supper too. We must get Andrew Wong to join us next time.

See you in 2 weeks' time.

Cheers... chris@ccc

Hi Chris! :)

Wah~~~ really? So impressive!!! Lisa is a PhD student? *thumbs up*
She looks so young though~ she looks more like an undergraduate Uni student to me! This is so freaky~ coz I discovered that majority of the badminton players look younger than their real age.
When I met Chiranthi the first time, I thought she was probably a high school student and that also happened to me when I met Hsiu @ Albert park.
(or maybe it's just me not good at guessing people's age?!?!) :D
Nono... but i can't be that bad at guessing... so it's gotta be something magical with badminton!

I haven't got a chance to talk to Lisa yet... next Friday lo~! ;)

Cheers.

CBA Tournament Draw

To Kee, Peter & Capt Ken,

The CBA tournament draw is out and you can find it here:-
http://www.insports.com.au/cba/default.asp

Just click 'Notice Board' on the left and you'll find it there.

Ken: only 6 players playing in D-Grade singles, you and me are not in the same group.. :D so we might not be playing against each other unless we both get through to the 2nd round.

Hi all, just a short msg to say hi to everyone...

Also wanted to let everyone know that I don't 'do drugs at Uni'.. hehe.. :p and yes I'm a PhD student (or a pizza hut delivery student)..

See you all in a fortnight, will be in Sydney this weekend..

ciao! ;)

Hi my Melbourne BC friends,

Enjoy reading your activities and happy to note that you're all enjoying badminton too! Your leader Chris Hoh has done a fine job, Keep them up!

I also note that my friend, Kevin "BadFever" is still as strong as ever at handicap -8 despite playing 11 games. (He must have won every game!) His 'regular' partner Kim is not bad at -6. But I can't believe that LilyC and her partner Chiranthi have plus points, maybe they have not played to their full potential or their opponents have been too strong.

LisaC's pizza hut delivery work is not as bad a permanent head damage!

Happy Badminton!
Best wishes from Singapore :)

Good work Chris, your '...doing drugs...' strategy is getting LisaC into the forum (She just have to register and clear thing up :D ).
