    Some finals are known now:

Ra and Kim vs. Gao and Zhang (the usual final)

Lin is in the final and makes strong point for the remaining Chinese olympic ticket. Lin dan has won in 3 games against Bao.

Gong Ruina (also in three games) beat Korean Jun.
Audina just started her match against Zhang Ning.

The Malaysians Choong/Lee continue their impressive run, and won from the Danes
Eriksen/ Lungaard Hansen. They will play either the indonesians or the koreans in the final (match played later tonight).

    Grtz., - Mark / Zax

    Re: audina - zhang ning

What's wrong with Audina!? Does she have stamina problems? I mean the score is not bad in the first game but in the second...Or is it just that Zhang Ning is too good for every player these days. Even at the WC2003 semi-finals, the first game was 7-11 and the second was 0-11 for Ning. Come on Audina!!!!

    More results

I get the results from two friends present at the Hong Kong Open.
Most of them come live from IBF reporter Raphael Sachetat. Thanks to him for keeping us up to date!

By the way, Manabu, what other match against Lin Dan did Bao loose within a week, and with what score?

Raphael just told me Ponsana and Xia are playing a third game now.

If the report of the tread is correct, then my wish of Chong/Lee winning the men double is a step closer coming true.

    Malaysia boleh!

I hope the Msians will win. They have already upset the indonesian champs, koreans and the danish in this HK open.

From what I gather from various reports, it seems that Lin has that fierce fighting spirit like tiger while Bao is a tame house cat.
