    Technically 1 pair (yonex)

But i usually don't wear a badminton shoe to play. The shoes i usually wear for my court games is my futsal shoe (puma) and non-marking tennis shoe (adidas).

I find those 2 are more comfortable than the yonex i have.

I am NOT trying to flame you, but just say running shoes is a NONO for badminton, as it's very dangerous.

There's no need to shot for the top of the line baddy shoes, if your budget is tight. Lower end baddy or volleyball shoes are still much better and SAFER than running shoes. Here in NY, some Gosen baddy shoes is only US$35 compare to US$75+ for SHB98MX.

I used to wear tennis shoes, many years ago. I am convinced that is why I suffered a bad sprain on court (in combination with poor footwork). My ankle swelled up and I was out for a few weeks. After that, never wore tennis shoes again for badminton. My ankle is permanently weakened.

Thanks for the advice! Anyways, so far I can't find anything here in T.O. less than 70$ asic volleyball shoes. All you can find here is basketball, casual, more basketball, running, even more basketball, and a tiny section of asic shoes. Well, since i jsut started to get serious in to badminton (high school team.........yay!!!) I haven't got to the shoes part yet. and after buying a tisp sx and a mp77 for 220 (CAD), im pretty much broke. But im halfway there to those asic shoes, only 20 more bucks to go!![IMG]

2 pairs of Hi-Tec Vipers, one blue, one red. They were very cheap and i think they've been discontinued so i bought two just in case. I also have another old pair which I now use as running shoes

    Shb98

I only have one pair, which is shb98m. The 98 gives me no problem with footwork, and I think it's pretty in the Ankle-Support. But the problem is, it gives me some foot soreness somehow...

    SHB 89 opinion

Hi. I just bought a SHB 89 MG. I would like to know what's the difference with SHB 89 MX? Have you got any SHB 99? How's it compared to SHB 89 series?
