I would rate Rijal is slightly better from Fran. Obviously Tontowi is the most talented, most skillful among 3 of them. So, is grey/mel your fave now..? :D:p

I suspect SS is carrying some left over injury. I'm worry more about Hayom, I think PBSI should reconsider having Hayom as priority.

I never seen him before, but I'm glad you think that Rijap is better cos that means INA got more young talents

in the large scale of MS INA, i'm afraid there is still no sign of having the new "Taufik Hidayat"
    :(

The obvious answer has to be: He's not with the team in Qingdao.

I personally think it will be better for Li Mao to train the youngsters like Riyanto, Vito, Alrie, etc.

Don't be too pessimistic. I still have faith in the young players being tested in the Sirnas nowadays.

Yes, I would rate Towi as the most lethal and dangerous. That's why Richard pairs him (and not Rijal or Fran) with Butet, to achieve the best combination.

Fran's smashes are powerful but they are not as effective. You can see in today's match that only a small percentage of his smashes won pts quickly.

But he's got INA youngsters battling their way in one of the biggest tourney, shouldn't he at least be with the team and watch the progress

Hayom seems too much of Taufik-ism style. I would say that INA MS a bit coward.
TH always hide under his age for years since 2006 (by keep saying he is old)
i have never seen Sony and Simon showed their fighting spirit. Their achievements merely by technical skill.
Hayom? idolized Taufik too much, lazy style, no work rate whatsoever, too proud of his thundering smash I guess. And hey, he can do backhand smash too
Tommy is lack of talent compared to those 4, but have much better mentality. AFAIK, Tommy never lost so easy whoever his opponents.
Alam? His physical limit him, too bad.
What they need is leadership, sample to follow and work on their mentality.
Outside those 6, no other player. Andre is a gone case, very limited talent.

Rijal/Debby show a good progress, entering India SS 2011 SF, and retire to Towi/Butet due to Rijal's injure.

INA will have 4 strong pairs.. Towi/Butet, Fran/Pia, Rijal/Debby and new pair Ricky Widianto/Shendy(They trashed the AE 2011 winner, Chen Xu/Ma Jin in MAS GPG 2011 recently).

IMO, Rijal is the most talented, yes. But he has the worst of coverage. And like most other talented guys, he is prone of error.

still recall when Rijal pair with Vita in their first tournament, directly win the JPN SS 2009 title beat Nova/Butet in final. Debby should make a quick progress!
