You can get it fixed but once you get it back, lt won't feel the same as before might be more head heavy
Yes, it can be fixed. The repair technique has been improved a lot over the years. I just had two of mine rackets fixed in China for about about $30 a piece. You can't tell the difference when playing. You can only find the original broken spot if you inspect the the paint very carefully. I know someone else has his racket fixed in Russia for similar price. So I think you can find a shop to fix racket in a badminton popular country.
Can a normal badminton shop fix the racket? I live in San jose, CA, If anybody know where to fix broken racket in SJ, please let me know asap.
I've seen people fix their racket with epoxy glue. The result is ok as in you'll be able to play with the racket again, but don't expect it to feel like it did before breakage. I wouldn't really recommend it, but if you have no money to buy a new one, why not repair it! Usually, shops will not fix that kind of breakage, because the racket will never be like it was before, has chances of breaking again and because they'd much rather like if you bought another racket. It would not be efficient for them to do so unless they charged a lot. Soldering will not work, as rackets are made with carbon fiber.
dam it, I just bought super glue, is epoxy glue stronger than super glue? I bought this one http://www.walmart.com/ip/Instant-Krazy-Glue-2pk/17011353 Can u recommend me a epoxy glue at walmart, please?
Epoxy glue is stronger, but you have to wait several hours for it to dry and harden. Also, just glueing in the crack area wont suffice, but I can't really help you on how to do it properly as I've never done it personally.
