Quick analysis of todays qualifications :
MX (http://www.u-netsurf.ne.jp/nichiba/2005/yoj/exdq.htm)
Jung Jae Sung/Lee Kyung Won were knocked out by (unknown?) japanese pair (Yamashita/Hikichi)
Wang Chen qualified playing with Njoto (unusual to see her in MX)
No surprise Zheng Bo and Huang Sui also made it to the main draw...}]
Jung/Lee exit is the surprise. WangChen has played several XD with Njoto. Huang/Zheng are both doubles specialists and were XD Finalists (1998/2000)in the WJC - the nasty bit:they face Bathan/Emms in Rd 1 and if they win, play XieZb/ZhangYwen.
[MS (http://www.u-netsurf.ne.jp/nichiba/2005/yoj/emsq.htm)
Yohan Wiratama had to go through the qualifications.
So did youngsters Gong Weijie and Lee Cheol Ho.
All other qualifiers are japanese except chinese Niu Jiaping (who is he?).]
Agree, they should all be there. Also ? Niu. Sadly, GongWJ meets Bao Chulai in Rd 1 -like drawing Hafiz in Rd 1 in Siam.He won't have much practice this way.
[WS (http://www.u-netsurf.ne.jp/nichiba/2005/yoj/ewsq.htm)
Favourites got through, including Wong Mew Choo, Chie Umezu, Lu Lan, Jiang Yanjiao...
Interesting to note that all indo girls failed to qualify though.]
Indo girls don't stand a chance with these seasoned 2nd line national players.
[MD (http://www.u-netsurf.ne.jp/nichiba/2005/yoj/emdq.htm)
So did the Danes Michael Lamp and Rasmus Mangor Andersen.]
Unfortunately this previously top Danish pair has drawn the Chinese juniors Xie/Guo,

Mainly japanese pairs here.
Tracey Hallam also qualified with Nathalie Munt.
Usual WS players, youngsters Lu Lan and Jiang Yanjiao qualified together too.
