Kaohsiung International Challenge 2010, 1 - 5 Dec

I'm beginning to think the generals' mindset is that players are like soldiers... they need to be trained trained trained in the barracks but never need to get field experience unless there is a war/national insterest... but this is SPORTS, guys!

If they are not sent to get experience, by the time Olympic Games arrives, they will all be novices, not veterans... :(
I agree very very completely with you guys. By the time OG coming, they tend rush to improve ranking, but then too late.
On and on and on.

Does anyone know if there's any available website to check for the latest result of this tourney? Thanks before.

Riyanto Subagya lost, Gifar and Yeni are too. info from:riyanto status.

is this serious?
they opponent in 1st round is rather easy and i expect they will go far
is the problem of stamina as they play in the ina tournament before this?

Perhaps:
1. They are overrated or did't improve skills properly as youngsters.
2. The TPE players are getting better and better these days
3. Combination of 1 and 2 :D

Thanks rosid. Shesar hiren (MS) won, that's relieving. He just won Kejurnas (the national tournament). People will kinda have a big hope on him :)

Riyanto has been on a downward trend lately....losing in many tourneys.

On the other hand, Shesar Hiren Rhustavito (Vito), who is younger than Riyanto by 1 year, is on an upward trend after winning the Kejurnas (National Championships) U-19 title last week. Both players are still eligible for AJC & WJC 2010. I hope Vito can advance to at least R16 where he will face the third-seed Hsu Hsao-Wen.

Febby Angguni also advances after a long absence in the international circuit. She will face a tough match against the third-seed Chiang Pei-Hsin today.

Dandi Prabudita/Jones Ralfy Jansen also advance but they are unlikely to beat Huang Po-Yi/Lu Chia-Pin today.
