Kento Momota (new thread)

what do you guys think about his perf against NKL?

Better but still not there. Not sure if it is because of stamina. That said I find it difficult to judge in that camera angle. I can't compare because the majority of my data is based on another angle.

However! The covid restrictions have been lifted in my country which means I will go play badminton again. Not gonna lie - this might be a sign of Momota rising again. Not gonna lie. Im getting chills.

I see Momota has problem with his eyes.

Something make him react slower, especially the strong smashes come from his opponent.

For those who are interested here is the match...

Wishing Rhustavito a speedy recovery and that his injury isn't too serious.

Your thoughts fans? Momota looked a bit more energetic and less passive today. Saw some more creativity with his shots and a bit more confident at the net.

If I knew even one ounce of Japanese language, and knew what Momota's social media handle was.

I would convey the following message to him.

''Lin Dan after 8 consecutive first round losses in 2018 thrashed CTC(9 match points down in the first round,11-20 trailing in the second set after losing the first one), Tsuneyama, Shi Yuqi and then Chen Long(21-8 in the final). You never know when it will click. But once it clicks, it takes off like a rocket''
