i'll look into it more for u. As of now, his clinic was filled up within days. If member sign up is poor i'm sure CWC would allow outsider to join in the lessons but i'm sure KDM would be quite busy just serving the members needs.
hum.... why do I get a feeling that quality coaching is only accessible to the rich and privileged. Maybe I just have to save up the $20,000 needed to join these clubs. Not too mention the 7 yr waiting list.
This is part of the reason, why this sport in not that popular in the western world, as athletes need to pay for themselves. With the poor profit return ratio, it's considered as a bad investment from many parents, sponsors and even athletes themselves.
Is he still at the Winterclub? It was my understanding that he was just there for the one camp. I'm a member there, and i haven't heard anything about him in the last little while.
He is mostly there for the elite training @ 2:30 in the afternoons. He also is taking english at the U of C as well. I've seen him out with some of the younger competitive kids groups but not too often.
ya i talked to the other coaches there last night. I can't believe he's here. I should ask him to play some alberta series tournaments with me
have you heard any more on if they allow "outsiders" to join the lessons with KDM? I would gladly pay $70/hour just for 1 or 2 sessions, KDM is the player I have admired the most for his skills, strategy, etc
As far as I know the private lessons are exclusive to only club members. But I recommend you call The Winterclub to find out forsure. The number is 289-5511. It's worth a shot!
hahah lucky maybe.. not rich. My parents join the CWC about 20 years ago. At that time It was only around 2000 to join
