I think Lee So Hee ought to retire as she is showing signs of aging ...making a lot of mistakes on court

I believe Lee Soo Hee and Kim Soo Yeong will retire by end of this year.
maybe Baek Ha Na will be paired with Kong Hee Yeong and her former partner Lim Yu Lim?

I think Chae Yu Jung also will retire soon

Lee Soo Hee is 30 yo
Chae Yu Jung is 30 yo
Kim Soo Yeong is 33 yo

30 yo is the threshold for competitive badminton age?

Wow what happened to KangSeo. They are obliterated at home.

You wonder not playing XD has made Seo less effective? Almost the same case like Yuta where i dont think he has done better in XD despite quitting MD with Endo.

    Always an intereting dynamics.

Same for Kim Won Ho not playing MD. He is not better at XD.

Leo has improved so much my god. he was so dominant these last 2 days

I still think fikri/daniel will be the better pair in the future but let's just enjoy these 2 new great pairs. they've been brilliant the last 2 weeks

I want to see what they can do when all great pairs are coming back after the break from the olympics

I only managed to see the third set. Kang was completely dominated at the net and visibly shaken, thus making cheap errors. Didn't see much of Seo as the Indonesians focusing their attack more on Kang.

The threshold is whether you have the motivation to try for another Olympics

    They are average.
It's the media and Malaysian enthusiasm that's giving them the limelight.

Good points are that they are really powerful hitters.

There are still areas of misunderstanding when covering for each other. The Koreans exploited that really well.

Nothing wrong with Seo, Kang is just addicted to tight blocks even when it's not working.

LOL isn't that typical to all Malaysian badminton players. Never know when they will play well or when they will get trashed. Not sure actually.
