Korean Open 2009:Quarterfinal day 4 friday january 16

Firda had better not give Tine too much respect. Tends to do that against established players like last week against PHY.

She can be competitive, proof of why she was able to beat Saina. In fact could have won in straight games if she were more careful.

i'm sorry but my memory recal that last week firda was also facing Tine but it was on yhe 2nd round.

Firda lost but she cuold somehow managed to give a quite hard games for Tine and she said that she wasnt patient enough that made her lost...

:crying::crying::crying::crying:

Abedeng isright....I was there also.....she lost toPi....she lost to Tine in Copenhagen Master 20-22,14-21where she should have won on 1st set....not patience enough

Firda need to be more patience, if she want to go for SF...........
Ina WS actually have good SKILL, but they want to finished the game soon....
need some mental trainer to help them during the match....

i see....
i see.....

Firda lost ti Pi after winning a 3 setters games on their 1st encounter in Singapore SS last year....

so, it's 1-1 for Firda and Pi

Firda and Tine basically have same game type......attacking mode.....both their smash are lethal.....its matter of the errors......and patience too....of course......

Let me make prediction for ina players...

DIJU V[IND] Jwala GUTTA[IND] - [INA] Wijaya RENDRA [8] [INA] Meiliana JAUHARI this is 50-50 match chance for both pair....although India has a slight edge

Simon SANTOSO [8][INA] - [INA] Andre Kurniawan TEDJONO
Simon should take this.......but expect some fight from Andre....

Wen Hsing CHENG [1][TPE] Yu Chin CHIEN[TPE] - [INA] Shendy Puspa IRAWATI [6] [INA] Meiliana JAUHARI
Tpe pair still a class ahead of ina pair...but can Mel/Shendy spur an upset here...

Fran KURNIAWAN [7][INA] Shendy Puspa IRAWATI[INA] - [KOR] Yong Dae LEE [2] [KOR] Hyo Jung LEE
60-40 for OG Medallist.........

Mathias BOE [4][DEN] Carsten MOGENSEN[DEN] - [INA] Muhammad AHSAN [INA] Bona SEPTANO
Den pair is in their good form.....but expect a win from Bona/Ahsan...

Adrianti FIRDASARI[INA] - [DEN] Tine RASMUSSEN [2]
Firda face huge wall.....but she still has a chance once she can reduce her errors....

all the best for ina..............

Hmm, from the way it looks, INA is facing the MAS predicament. Having lots of players booted out from the QF.

Malaysian players

Where's badmania?

My list should be a simple one, because not that many Malaysians survived till today ...

Choong TF/Lee WW v Fang CM/Lee SM - Should be a close match; I put it to the Malaysians' experience in the end (uncles over nephews)

Lee Chong Wei v Park Sung Hwan - In Korea, anything can happen. But my money's still on LCW. (But I will lose lots of money; just look at my PAW results.)

at least firda has already realized that her impatience caused errors and eventually lost.....

it means, she jugde herself and having the willingness to be better......

dear GOD, i hope Firda will and she can make a big upset today..........

Amiiin . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

.
Just look at their forms,

Lee Chong Wei defeated Hong Ji Hoon: 21-11, 17-21, 21-15 in 56 minutes, while
Park Sung Hwan defeated Sho Sasaki: 21-12, 21-4 in 22 minutes.
.
