ya but lcw also did not play really well..he looks a little bit unfit and made many unforced errors..hopefully he can reduce it if he wants 2 win tomorrow
2010 Asian Games Individual Event Semi-Finals: Lee Chong Wei-vs-Chen Jin . Just hope that Lee Chong Wei would not rush himself in the match against Chen Jin at the Semi-Finals. Wonder who will face the winner of this match at the MS Final? .
Between nursing a back injury after commonwealth games and the ankle injury during training, plus the short amount to preparation time to AG, I would say the odds do not look good for LCW.
Agree with you...whoever get out of this will be so badly 'injured' that got 'slaughtered' in the final Maybe, there should be a gentleman agreement that they play one set and the loser will just throw the second game away to conserve energy...just a thought
It's do or die mission for LCW this time. Hope he gets it right this time around. come on, beat chen jin!. all the best!
LCW v CJ. A slightly out of sorts LCW against CJ, the most metronomic player in the world. An exciting shotmaker against the model of consistency. The bomber against the wall. Errr... I've run out of comparisons. Good luck to the both of them.
Chong Wei Faces Chen Jin In Semis From Zulhilmi Supaat GUANGZHOU: Malaysia's singles ace Datuk Lee Chong Wei will battle Chen Jin of China in the semi-finals tomorrow after defeating Thailand's Boonsak Ponsana in the men's singles quarter-finals match of the 16th Asian Games at the Tianhe Gymnasium here Friday. The world number one shuttler took 57 minutes to confirm his semi-finals berth, taming Ponsana 21-13, 21-17. In the men's team quarter-finals clash last Saturday, Ponsana defeated Chong Wei in a rubber set 9-21, 21-10 and 21-19. World number five Chen Jin thrashed Taiwan's Chou Tien Chen 21-19, 21-14 in today's quarter-finals. Chong Wei's head-to-head record against Chen Jin is 7:2, in favour of the Malaysian. At their last meeting in the Malaysia Open Super Series in January, Chong Wei, the reigning All England champion tamed current world champion Chen Jin in a rubber set 21-14, 16-21, 21-15. The Malaysian ace said he was confident of beating Ponsana in today's event after losing to the Thai in the team event. "I'm back again after a bout of fever. Against Chen Jin, it might be a tough fight," he told reporters here Friday. Chong Wei said he wanted to bag the Asian Games gold medal as the Guangzhou edition might be his last Asiad. "The Incheon edition in South Korea is four years from now. So now, it's the best time for me to grab the Asiad gold," he said. http://www.thestar.com.my/sports/story.asp?file=/2010/11/19/asiangames/20101119171130&sec=asiangames
Hi Georgie...friendly advice to you...get a baby milk bottle, fill with baby milk formula and suck on it...it can calm your nerves....if it makes you feel any better, relax, LCW will take it, maybe a bit harder and some sweat. P/N the prediction above carries no money back guarantee, bet on your own risk.
phew...congrats lcw as he able 2 beat chen jin..i thought lcw will lose when he lost in the 1st game but he proved me wrong..so tomorrow he will meet lin dan.. a very very difficult task as super dan is back..hopefully he will has his confidence at the highest lvl 2 morrow 2 win!!:crying::crying:
lcw and cj, amazing 3 games but 3rd set real disappointing for fans. chen jin ran out of gas starting 2nd set while lcw looks stretched to his limit. unless chen jin change his game playing with lcw, we can never see him beating lcw or even lin dan, he needs 2 additional gas tank and leak proof. overall, still a bit below this 2 finalists. and what we have for the final, a really worked out lcw against lin dan, who just took a stroll in the park to enter? i think most of you have already picked your choice of winner.lol
