Lee Chong Wei ( 李宗伟 )

no. my coach just told me to take them for cold and and as pain killer!
looks like that I wouldn't be picking up a racket for a couple of years, or should I just claim it's all his fault?

No worries. I don't think you have many medals to show.:D

That's bad news. Originally they said he'd miss Denmark and French, but its quickly become others too. Let's just hope he doesn't do what LD did and take a really long time out. I was hoping to see him at the all England next year :( maybe not now... who knows?

If B sample is also positive (pray it is not) then not just All England my BC friend but All Superseries and All tournament sanctioned by BWF he will miss for 2 years.

Not only miss for 2 years, it would mean AG 2014 was the last we saw LCW in action.
Next news may be abt LCW the coach, LCW officiating some new housing area that his company built.

I doubt he will be short of a change even if it is the end of the Badminton road for him.

Even without gold, silver and number one have some significance. Just look at the pages in this thread.

Indeed. May be, the fans might want their idol to come in front incase LCW's case went the other way around. You can see so many silent members here speaking out loudly against him(really a shock to me) even before the case is solved.

An arcticle of the German badzine website says that this medication also has an positive effect on mood, perception and attention. So it's not completely ruled out that it was deliberately used in order to enhance his performance.
In large doses, yes.

But first establish the level.

I am following Visor's line of thinking. Somebody must have made a calculation error.

Remember the post I made about pharmacokinetics.

Agreed. Suppose this turns out to be an error, do you think players should be entitled to some sort of compensation as a result of the damage to their reputation not to mention their loss of earnings, points/ranking etc...?

who is going to pay for this "compensation"?

oh wait. let's check to see if he bought a huge insurance against such possibility recently... :)

Kwun, good one.

It follows the story of a guy who bought an expensive watch and then went immediately to the next shop to sell it. The owner of the next shop thought it was suspicious and called the cops but was sued when the guy proved he paid for it.

Holy Mackeral!
After scrolling through all these pages of lurid hypothetical posts, I might need:
topical dexamethasone for tired eyes; injectable dexamethasone for mousing tendonitis; inhaled dexamethasone for cough brought on by the computer-fan dust; and oral dexamethasone to shrink the brain tumour all this screen time has probalby caused. :(
(@visor: can you fix me up?)

Tks, tsk, you seem to have missed another route of administration :
rectal dexamethasone for the hemorrhoids that invariably would have developed from sitting there for so long following BC threads... ;)
