still yo-yo performance. I hope LZJ can work on silly mistake and mental toughness.

In this new year and Paris Olympics year, I am hopeful for a new and consistent LZJ to appear. Wish him all the best in the Malaysia Open from Tuesday.

    Again, lost to Naraoka.
IMO he needs to find some strategy to go against players which plays patiently like Naraoka. LZJ play style is to go full on attack to end the game as soon as possible. It's working for most players, but against players which likes to play rallies it'll be very difficult for him since he'll start to loose focus and make mistakes.

Looking forward to Feb and beyond. These few months would be crucial to see a steady progress and building up towards Paris 24. All the very best to LZJ.

impressive start for LZJ in the AE. aside from the almost chokejob in the 2nd set with naraoka, he dispatched both KN and LKY with ease.

also LZJ trained with PV Sindhu? was this done in Korea or they just sparred in AE?

There's a little over confident coming into Sen match in this AE. He used too much power for his smashes. Similar to ginting old days with full power.

He shd go 75% on his smashes and aim towards 1 feet inside the list. Can see that his smashes are pretty wild without direction.

Another way is to up his stamina by 20%. Not easy. He lost 2 points to Sen. Very close.
