I heard now Lee Yong bo is deciding where to put in Lin dan .. for the coming Thomas Cup .. who to drop Du Peng Yu or Wang ZhengMing for the last 3rd place slot.. Guys what u think!

 

No doubt LD is the best MS in China right now. And he will have to play 3rd single, otherwise, LYB has to find someone ranked below LD to play 3rd or even 2nd single.

 

I think in either spot, Lin Dan will be fine. coz other china MS Singles are competent enough.

 

Without a doubt, should drop Du Peng Yu. Lin Dan should probably play 1 or 2 MS.

 

WHY should them? CHN can send all the CL, DPY, WZM, LD as singles... and it's very advantageous for CHN TC to field the Super Dan as the MS3 supposed in a 2-2 position...just analogous to CHN UC fielding WYH as the WS3 in a 2-2 position as suggested by AlanY.

 

Unless it never gets to 2-2 position.

What if China loses both MD (very possible) and 1 MS (DU peng yu or wzm, also very possible). Then lin dan wouldn't even get to play? Whats the point of putting him at the MS3?

for the TC the only team has a chance to challenge China is Indonesia with their strong doubles.

remember the teams needed to submit their players hours before start. It's really up to the manager's assessments before the match as how to field their players. If China lost both doubles and with LD at MS2 then China's MS3 will be a youngster ranked around 100 with no experience in TC at all. I don't think team China will risk that.

Hi guys : i guess Lin dan uses adidas adiPower Force black which is a stiff and high balances point even more than z force ii of a rating of 305 + - 3. The rest of Adidas not as high balance point. Any of you not agree, we can discuss this . thanks

 

adiPower Force is 76 holes and not 72 though, so it can't be. LD's black racket has diagonal outside mains.

I feel China is in danger of not winning Thomas Cup this year !Indonesia is very strong this time round. The man Simon Santoso is back .. With Doubles most likely Hendra/Ahsan winning.A tough fight , China probably will win , means 3-2 win . Most likely Simon Santoso , will be put as 2rd singles , and Lin dan 3rd Single will be a confortable win . Wang Zhenming and Du Pengyu fight for final 2rd place.
