Add this for you. They are the one who sealed CHN's victory at Thomas Cup 2018.

Thanks for creating this thread. Can't believe that a great pair like them didn't have their own thread until just now. They are really dangerous pair. One should watch them carefully.

Cause no one cares about them till a thread is needed? They are good but the titles they won, most of them are at home soil. Any pair with that kind of team will have win the TeamEvent anyway.

I have to say their most impressive win is IndonesiaOpen17. They played really well against Boe/Mo ( even though BoeMo played till midnight in SF if i'm not wrong). They looked like world beater when they reach Japan&Korea Open back to back in 2016.

After the Sudirman Cup triumph, one member of the "Twin Towers" Liu Yuchen on his weibo(microblog) "makes a confession" to Fu Haifeng:" Not much to say, just happy today, you've left the team for two years but didn't leave me, thank you for your help. I've always loved you, grateful to have a big brother like you, no regrets in this life."

Fans, one after another, teased Liu Yuchen:" Others thank their partner after victory, you always declare your feelings to your elder, does Li Junhui know ?"

Li Junhui replied:" I'm not your true love ? How did it become Brother Bao?" (Brother Bao is Fu Haifeng's nickname).

Fu Haifeng warmheartedly encouraged Li Junhui:" Come on (jiayou), chubby, on court you've to depend on yourself, neither your friends nor your teammates, not even your parents can help you, you direct everything, you play the leading role. Bless you and Hui 'er, target Tokyo !"

Two-time Olympic champion Fu Haifeng is now the CBA Technical Consultant, assisting the men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles to prepare for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

Saw LJH walking around Sydney Olympic park on finals day. He looked so lost. Then when I went to watch the finals LYC sat near me. I interrupted his viewing experience to get a photo, he looks a bit annoyed in it :).

Not sure what their tactics against Gideon/Sukamuljo were today tbh. They seemed like they knew what to do within the points, gesturing to each other where to hit after the point ended. But I’m not sure why they tried to take them on in the flat game, Kevin especially was all over them, surely a couple of high lifts to tire them out and slow them down wouldn’t hurt?

Didn't they try that in the second game ? playing some high lift and trying to move the backcourt player from side to side ? but it wasn't effective because li junhui lot of times make a mistake in the defense plus kevin variate the pace well, making it hard for li/liu. I think if they meet each other again at japan open next week li/liu would have a better chance, slower playing condition suit them well.

Yeah they did it more in their win last year though. You’re right, probably the faster conditions makes the tactic less effective and Kevin/Gideon did well
