The only result I know about is Sony Dwi Kuncoro beating Nabil Lasmari 15-7 15-6 (not really a surprise! ;) ).

Results out for WD and XD. Surprise as Gao Ling/Huang Sui and Gao Ling/Zhang Jun gave walkover.

In WD, Hwang Yu Mi and Lee Hyo Jung are marked as W.O. too!

They were in the same quarter so there is only Chien/Cheng left with three relatively "unknown" japanese pairs!!

Such a shame! The Japanese organizers should seriously look into this. We get better treatment from the Koreans, who are just not as good in English.

Perhaps, so far the All England organizers are the best! The IBF should use them as a benchmark and maybe the English should share their experience and expertise with the Japanese. :(

    MD results out.

Sang/Yang lost to Candra/Halim which is not a big shock.
Shirley/Blair (Nzl/Eng) beat Yim Bang Eun/Kim Yong Hyun - minor upset; I'm seeing a few Kiwi-English partnerships, is it something new?, seems to work.

The WD and XD event looks boring until at least the semi-final stage.

hcyong - not certain of this, but I think the new zealand / english partnership is because of injury. Think I saw something about it on the BAofE site.
