hi! i've been playing with the TKFE 4U @27lbs for about 3-4 months now. Mostly double and a little bit of single. would call my self an intermediary level player. I was looking at having a 2nd racket maybe something that packs that little more power. Not that TKFE is lacking but yeah lol. Any recommendations? i was looking at - 88D Pro - Axforce 80/90 - DriveX 10M - Li-ning 9000C as you can see i have no clue where to look at lol Sent from my SM-S908W using Tapatalk
As a long time tkfe user. My shoulder was killing me after wielding the 90 dragon. Way more top heavy than tkfe, imo anyways. I'm not one to weigh rackets and get technical
oh that's good to know. I do have some shoulder light issue, didnt get any pain with the tkfe. might have to stick to balanced racket... or fix my shoulder Sent from my SM-S908W using Tapatalk
TKFE has enough power with some little technique, so there are a couple of ways you can get more power 1. Move to a higher weight class, which unless you know what you are doing, I would advise against, also as you've mentioned about your shoulder issues 2. Moving towards something which has little more flex than TKFE that would be JS12ii AX77PRO, ARC7PRO, Halbertec 8000, all in 4U. 3. Sticking a lead tape on your TKFE frame. if you want to shift towards 3U and want a flexier shaft then I would suggest getting the TC N9II/75, else if you want 3U and a stiffer shaft similar to TKFE it would be the TC N7II/70. But do keep in mind that these would be more taxing than the TKFE.
sticking lead tape to make it more headheavy? is that something people do? i am actually really impressed by that lol. Sent from my SM-S908W using Tapatalk
Not to hijack but I would appreciate if there are any final words on TKFE vs 88d pro as well. I have a TKFE and always liked the old green/red 88d but still haven't tried 88d pro (dry swinging feels odd and hollow to me but reviews stated it's easier to use than the old??).
