Apart from China, total domination by Msia's players in this tournament as I could not see any other bcers commenting in this forum so far. I suspect Whack D net, Madbag, XBALL are Malaysian as well. So sometimes it is not good to have few nations dominate one tournament as it will exclude the others from participating in the discussion which is no fun at all.
While watching the LCW vs TH match on tv, I saw that some of the points that were won by Uncle Wong were very tight net shots by him and that foced CJ to returned half court which were then killed by Uncle. Uncle also looked very aggressive with his play today.
Uncle Wong can give Uncle Kracker a run for his money. Totally unexpected, didn't see the match but watched the TH vs LCW.
Me too, esp after how he was beaten by CJ at WC. But this match were not telecast, I only caught glimpses from watching LCW's match. Btw, nice song from Uncle Kracker.
Madbag? LOL Yeah as aforementioned b4 by @Limsy, i'm indonesian But today certainly i support WCH Hmm, i guess mostly BC'ers originally came from INA and MAS Aside than that, Macau Open is only GP Gold level tourney, Plus lots of BIG guns from INA, KOR, DEN, ENG, JPN etc skip this tourney so maybe it caused not so many ppl interested to join in the discussion (some of BC'ers is fasting, though) But yeah i agree that total domination is not good at all for this sport Hope baddy become more popular, so it won't written off from Olympics Also, it will attract more ppl from various countries to join in the discussion here, too
Yeah, I'm worried that badminton would be dropped from the Olympics, of course not the 2012 London edition but beyond as you won't know if the future host is a "badminton playing country". They are now admitting golf and rugby among others. Squash failed to get in.
What a surprise! Woke up this morning and found out uncle Wong won against CJ. That's is a bonus. Great job! By the way, total domination by the Malaysian proved that they could do very well in smaller tournament but can't handle big one!
