The Malaysian pairs certainly can create an all-Malaysian final. CCM/KKK is still as erratic as ever (having watched them got thrashed by Flandy/Sigit last week)...but...with the support of the home crowd, I think they can win.

Losing to Chen Jin is not embarassing....as he is predicted as the future No. 1

I dont understand the critic from Kooguy against PG. Look at his results the last year.. only 2 QF and then semi, final and winner.. since middle of 2005 he has been improving a lot and remember europeans can last longer on the circuit than asians. Of course Peter will not make the level he had between 1999-2001 where he was as good as Lin Dan, but without the mental strengh cause he had that knee injury. But thats what happens when your out of court 1 year and afterwards never will be able to train as hard as before cause of your knee. Despite these facts he has the last year beaten bao twice, Lin Dan, LCW and Chen Jin which are the amongthe 5 best players around this year. PG is way better than when he played in 2003-2004 so ill expect him to be in top 5-10 until Beijing 2008. Also remember he just won a big tournament playing some tough matches and has said himself he isnt as fresh as the other MS in the competition.

Hes the most consistent player in the last 10 years and perhaps together with Taufik has the biggest talent/technique. Without an injury he would have been amazing. So i dont understand the critique

24-22, 15-21, 21-19 is a very close result...anyway a lost is a lost...hopefully it is not a repeat of AE06....3 pairs in the semi but came back empty handed....
