Some very good line up today.

As for WS department, CHN will try to restamp their glory days after the last India Super Series, not even one their player reach semifinal (they indeed didn't send their best force there though). Here they already send two their best, no 1 and 2 seed respectively, Li Xuerui and Wang Shixian, these two are on course to meet in finale and stand in their way are newly crowned India Superseries winner Saina Nehwal and All England Champion Carolina Marin. Except Carolina Marin who through quite comfortably yesterday, the other three must survive a scare before booked their semifinal ticket; Li Xuerui who was playing three games against her compatriot Wang Yihan; Wang Shixian who was forced to play until almost two hours by Nozomi Okuhara, and Saina Nehwal also must play rubber game against CHN Sun Yu. Lets see how it would affect their game today. What a mouthwatering clashes we have here.

In MD department, we are treated by four seeds who through accordingly. No 1 Lee Yong Dae/Yoo Yeon Seong would be tested by no 3 seed CHN TPE Lee Sheng Mu and Tsai Chia Hsin, meanwhile Mohammad Ahsan/Hendra Setiawan would try to stop Mathias Boe/Carsten Mogensen, expect a quick three games here, lol. Surprisingly, the Indonesian pair leads 3-0 comfortably in their head to head.

Meanwhile in XD department, a lone Indonesian pair Liliyana Natsir/Tontowi Ahmad would meet their nemesis the mighty Zhao Yunlei/Zhang Nan. Their last encounter wasn't pretty, the number 4 seed lost 10 and 10 in All England. Their head to head stand 7-5 in CHN favour. In the other semi we have all CHN clash, the old guard vs new guard, lets see how the fast rising Liu Cheng/Bao Yixin fare against their compatriot.

In WD semifinal, we have some new name here, I even try my best not to mistype them, lol. All CHN semi Ou Dongni/Xiaohan Yu vs Twins Luo, and KOR Chang Ye Na/Jung Kyung Eun vs Xia Huan/Tian Qing. God, how many pairs actually CHN has? :D They seems overflowing.

And in MS department, another CHN vs CHN Chen Long would meet not so fast rising Wang Zhengming. Ugh, what to expect here? Luckily, we have another one that quite promising. Lin Dan would meet no 2 seed from Denmark, Jan O Jorgensen. Lets see how the not so in form Lin Dan would fare against the Danes, he escaped yesterday, would he today?

And yes, hopefully we have some great matches today! All the best for the players!

Well, we'll see CHN domination here at semifinal round, to seal three final spots so far through MS, WD and XD and not possible there'll be all CHN finals tomorrow, they only have no representative in MD department.

SEMIFINAL ORDER OF PLAY (01.00pm local time, 2 courts) => http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/s...9DF254-6C04-4D4F-BAD9-38D0E93FD0FB&d=20150404

The must see showdown between Lin Dan and European finest Jan O Jorgensen, no wonder it has been arranged as last match of the day on TV court. Last four meetings of them always finished by rubber games and high probability it will get extra games too this evening. Lin Dan is forced to play rubber by his younger compatriot Tian HW last night while Jorgensen has smooth ride into final four. We don't know whether Lin Dan has back to 2012 London Games version or still seeking his best. Other semifinal clash, Chen Long v Wang Zhengming, it would be huge surprise if Wang ZM could overcome the World Champion.

Two blockbusters WS matches, world #1 Nehwal against Olympic Champion Li XR and World Champion Marin v Wang SX. Top two Chinese WS will face their biggest stumbling block. After missed several finals in SS event, this time CHN ladies may bounce back. Just concern about Wang SX stamina after she played gruelling 111 minutes match yesterday against JPN talent Okuhara, I believe that match is the longest duration ever in new rally point scoring system.

A healthy draw in MD where four semifinalists represent four different nations. Lee/Yoo is favour to cruise into finale against TPE Lee SM/Tsai CH while Ahsan/Setiawan has tougher task, Boe/Mogensen who perform consistently since early this year.

China starts their new grip in WD as the youngters are blooming here, Ou Dongni/Yu Xiaohan once again meets Luo Twins. Tian Qing looks impressive paired up with Xia Huan, interesting to watch two scratch combos face each other today. KOR still try their combination to find best WD partnerships towards Rio OG.

Ahmad/Natsir is surrounded by three CHN XD, Zhang/Zhao is their first challenge. It's still fresh from our memory their last meeting in All England final last month when Zhang/Zhao tamed Indonesian convincingly, will they take revenge this time? Hard to predict.

LIVE TV (01.00pm local time, court 1) matches :

    1) Li Xuerui (CHN) v Saina Nehwal (IND)
    2) Zhang Nan/Zhao Yunlei (CHN) v Tontowi Ahmad/Liliyana Natsir (INA)
    3) Mohammad Ahsan/Hendra Setiawan (INA) v Mathias Boe/Carsten Mogensen (DEN)
    4) Chang Ye Na/Jung Kyung Eun (KOR) v Tian Qing/Xia Huan (CHN)
    5) Lin Dan (CHN) v Jan O Jorgensen (DEN)

Very excited for the match between Ahsan/Setiawan vs The Danish.
It will be a tough and tight match. Personaly I hope it will be Ahsan/Setiawan vs Lee/Yoo in the final.

Another interesting match are Li vs Saina, Sixian vs Marin, and Lin Dan vs JOJ. It seems Super Dan still not back to his best, so JOJ.

Here my predictions on court 1

    MS : JOJ
    MD : Ahsan/Setiawan
    WS : Li Xuerui
    WD : Tian/Xia
    XD : Zao/Zhang

It is mission impossible for WZM. His attacking shots are excellent, but he moves to slow!

I don't think it is because of his slowness.

Do you mean because of other aspect of his play, or because of team discipline?

Due to Carolina Marin I decided to put on my earplugs again. Yesterday I was watching the matches at court 1 and her voice from court 3 is even louder than the noise in court 1. That really distracted me who is watching the matches live at court 1. Since she will be playing again in court 2 today, I might as well put on the earplugs when she is playing so that I will not listen to her shrieking and screaming again at court 2. :(

I really pity Wang Shixian. Yesterday she had a long match with Nozomi Okuhara for nearly 2 hours and that makes her so exhausted. I just don't know whether she will have much energy left to play today. Then today again, she will play with the shouting and shrieking Carolina Marin. Carolina might shout all the way and she may want to end the match early so that need not listen to her shouts all the time. I was just thinking that if it was Wang Shixian playing with Carolina Marin yesterday, the match would not have lasted for 2 hours. Lets see how long this match will last today. Added with her fatigue and tiredness from yesterday's match, she may wanted to end the match earlier than expected lol. I just pity this girl Wang Shixian. :(
