alrite, it seems like many ppl are leaning towards the mp77 over the mp100. I have broke a mp100 is just 2 months and is thinking about getting another one. IN the mean time, i'm hearing all these good things about 77.
What is the main difference except for the stiffness and the ti-meshes between these two rackets. Is the 77 a lot cheaper than 100??? (in hk $ pls). Also, does is come in a cn/cp version like the muscle power??

    thx for all replies......

here in Singapore, i've seen the MP55 more expensive than the MP77. Anyway, the MP77 costs slightly less than the MP100 here. I think its only by about $15 or something.

Just thought i'd comment on the price coz i haven't tried the MP77. Next time i'll think twice when i ask someone to borrow their MP100

    but would it be a 2u or a 3u.

This whole 2u 3u thing has change my outlook on racquets since a 2u mp77 wouldn't play the same as a 3u.

the mp100 i broke was a sp version, 2u. I am just thinking if i should get a 77 next or another 100. by the way, what the balance on 77, even balance like the 100???

    the mp77 is even balance....in 3u form...in 2u i am not sure.
but another difference b/w the mp77 and the mp100 is that the mp77 head is larger, therefore it has a larger sweet spot.

don't expect the MP77 to be a cheaper version of the MP100. the 77 is a complete different beast. different stiffness, different head size, different grip length, different shaft length. even the MP bumps are different.

so if you think you will get a simlar racket, you will be surprised.

the MP100 is a great racket. if you think it is fragile, spend the money a get a CP one. they are supposed to be more durable...

    What does CP mean?

I owned a 2u-g3 mp77 (now broken) and it says even balance on the shaft.
