Yes, they are just too expensive to get. Either you are a very rich 'lonely' person or you belong to a very rich badminton club in order to get one. The Knight's machine looks very very nice. I hope somebody can make one which is under USD500 (I am dreaming), maybe some inventor in China? Come on!
I've also seen that in action, it seems pretty big and bulky, but it all fits into one big black bag. Excellent for consistency training.
lol well, even though WE, normal ppl, cant afford it, hopefully we will see it at club gyms...but i thought this was pretty cool that it finally got developed. next thing should be a birdie picker upper =), kinda like the ones that glide over the floor and pick up tennis balls. hehe...
Unless your club has money to burn on the shuttle feeder then a person to feed shuttlecocks to you is the cheapest option.
That is true, usually in the club, you have plenty of players around how are willing to feed the shuttles. But it would be nice to have one when you are alone. For me, it would be nice because I have free access to a hall but I don't usually have playing partners.
But then when people are practicing, they do feed the shuttle to the same position for practicing consistancy. I think that is one thing that is different from a tennis feeder or a baseball feeder, which have various shot angle when they shoot.
it takes forever to refill the black knight feeder, human feeding is still the best haha the machine will never be able to spin a shuttle
