do you remember which one? during which match?
That 'guy' will just mention anything that just crossed his mind...including non badminton related stuff as usual... I was shocked when i hear the voice since the 1st day of axiata cup..... To be frank, i sometimes enjoy his commentary though...
John is a nice guy and he is willing to learn more things..his sister lives in Bali and he did spend time in between Axiata cup..I chatted with him last week....before he did commentary..he did browse many website or blogs...he did browse badminton central...
You can tell that John's commentary has improved. Used to dislike him for pronouncing many of the players' names wrong but he seems to have worked on that pretty well.
..and he has become less bias. Less of those "C'mon Harimau..You Can Do It" stuff.
As a commentator, it's better to stay neutral.
what about when LCW is on court?
Haven't heard him commenting lately except the Axiata cup and that too, only on matches played in Indonesia.
All commentators should stay neutral
All commentators should stay neutral; Otherwise, he/she would upset fans of other players.
i like John's commentary.
his words seems to flow out in a more natural manner, not forceful or staged like some other commentators.
I can't remember, sorry
Actually I have found it. I went through my browser history and rewatched everything about the Axiata cup haha. It doesn't seem to let me embed it starting from anywhere but the beginning so here is the old fashioned link with the correct time.
Final is today guys.. Hope that Rajawali can bring us a good fight...
Hope so ......
But I think Garuda will win.
I do hope that Rajawali can win at least a match. From the MD perhaps anybody got the lineup for final already?
Garuda wins 3-0 over rajawali. simon vs tommy and kido-hendra vs angga-rian were pretty boring, IMO, but the last match between taufik and hayom were soooo epic.
2012 Axiata Cup: Garuda Team becomes the inaugural champion
Well, Rajawali did try, but as I have thought, Garuda was too strong.
Congratulations to the Garuda Team, the inaugural champion.
Score between Taufik and Hayom?
Taufik vs Hayom | 21-17 25-27 21-16 plus a bit of drama from TH
21-17, 25-27, 21-16.
Thanks for the info
