New in Bangkok. Looking for a group to play

Hi all

I've been playing badminton for quite a while, both in Singapore and Indonesia. I used to organize games also in both countries.

Due to work commitment, I will be staying in Bangkok for the next 6 months
I would like to know if there's any group who would be welcoming enough for newcomer in Bangkok like myself

I am staying around Ekamai, but I can travel to places that are (preferably) walking distance from BTS/MRT stations
Most likely will be available on weekends, but will squeeze some time on weeknights also if possible.

Hope to hear something from badminton enthusiasts in Bangkok!

Hi, I run a popular ex-pats badminton club not far from Ekamai. We play on Sunday nights 7-9.30pm at 71 Sports club in Phra Kanong, and the standard is good. Very friendly people from many different countries, including Thailand itself. Find us under Badzone Advanced Doubles on meetup.com!

First session is a trial one to make sure people are above the minimum standard. Price is 200 baht and we can increase the number of course depending on how many people show up. You get many games in a night with short waiting times, unlike at other Bangkok clubs.
