I never try on spira, and I don't have spira. MX80 is good enough for me. Haha...

    my SPR22 BP 290 mm
while my MX80 BP 293 mm
SPR22 is as fast as MX80
    speed BS10 > BS11 > MX80 / SPR22 > SW35
    power SW35 > MX80 > BS11 > BS10 / SPR22
    SPR22 is best for control and placement SPR22 > MX80 > BS10 > BS11 > SW35

A rather epic almost 3 hour session tonight with the MX80, including 1.5hrs on the bike, and I'm shattered.

MX80 shines. It's so awesome, words haven't yet been invented to describe how awesome it is :D

I can't believe there's all these people with VT80's and I've yet to see someone else here with an MX80? WAKE UP PEOPLE! :)

I'm just playing Thursdays with a bunch of my friends who are A-Reserve players at Altona. I'm getting a bit stale at Niddrie. Bundoora RMIT is really good, too. Long way from me, but if I have a spare Sunday it's a good hit, with 6 courts and many strong players.

Me too. I plan to look for a stronger player group to join. Bundoora is quite far from me though. what string did you use on your MX? The feeling is a bit harder compared to mine VT.

I'm willing to bet the MX80 has sold very well. Not as well as the VT80, but possibly better than all other Victor rackets in recent years. So it isn't exactly a secret lol. I think the problem is, people always want whatever gives them the most power, even if they can't wield it. I'd imagine for the majority of players, the MX80 would be both more powerful and faster, however, for the few more fit, strong and advanced players, the VT80 could very well be more potent. It definitely does pack an extra punch in the power department, the question is whether the slowness in comparison to the MX80 can offset that. I'd imagine that completely depends on the player.

Currently just a 3UG2 (Yonex G5) and a 3UG3 (Yonex G4). I will give you exact measurements once I have the 3UG3 strung with the same string, and gripped with the same overgrip.

    I completely agree! :D

But an extra stiff racket is not easy for the average user to wield.

Victor doesn't have the name and marketing power of Yonex, I'd bet that there are probably 10x more vt80's sold than mx80's...

Eg. Yonex already has LCW, Boe and Mo using vt80 in competition, whereas Victor has yet to convince any of their sponsored players to use the mx80. I'm not saying that we should use what the pros use (that's Maklike's thread :p), but the reality is that there is a prestige in a racket line that wins competitions.

    bro,
what i see now is the more VT80 selling out and the more queue up at the buysell forum awaiting newbie players to pick up.
I dont see anyone selling MX80 so far, if yes the ratio must be 100:1

With this i bought myself MX80 last week and awaiting to test it this sunday with BG85.
I used and a fan of BS11 and Z-slash, i look forward to see what MX80 can offer to me.
Those who used BS11 plz share me how much MX80 has improved since then...

People refuse to believe that any company apart from YY cab make a good badminton racket. It's ridiculous !

Still, it leaves more Victor rackets for us !:p

I'm one of many yy fans here. Already tried and loved the ARC Zs and VT70. These two are currently my trusted weapon. Recently, after reading most of the thread here about victor, I've decided to try one(because of comments from Maklike Tier mostly ;)). I picked a BS12 for trial. It's a good decent racket. But this week, when I tried the MX80, wooo... it's a totally different kind of racket. This is something that is seems to be tailormade for me HAHAHAHA!!! Every single aspect of my game were better. the swing, the balance, the weight, the speed, the design and so on... everything seems fine... love at first hit!! now, what am i going to do with my BS12?

As I said before, even in my VT80/MX80 comparison, I honestly do feel the MX80 is the best all round racket in the world. VT80 might beat it in raw power, but the MX80 certainly doesn't lack power. It just plays different. More precise, lightning quick and easy to control. Imo there are no flaws with the MX80.

BP 292~293 mm strung (VS850) and added thin overgrip (YY Super Grab)

    I've tried quite a few Victor rakets such as BS10, BS11, SW35, SW37, SPR22 and MX80
still think that MX80 is the best so far ...

Just wondering, but is it just me but does anyone else have a bit more trouble with their overhead backhands with mx80? Like clear and smash. (Drive and defense is excellent though. ). And I'm already quite proficient with my backhand with other less stiff rackets.

I can do overhead backhand clears easier with the MX80 than I could with the BS10.
