TBH not even trying hard at all. This test is questionable.
Bros : letsay compare Lin ning N90, N55 to Arch Z slash , which is better ?

1. Distance = Distance travelled by the shuttle when it is smashed till it hits the next object (net, racket, opponent etc)Speed = Distance / time
Science (physics particularly) does not lie.
1. Distance = Distance travelled by the shuttle when it is smashed till it hits the next object (net, racket, opponent etc)
2. Time = Time taken by the shuttle when it is smashed till it hits the next object (net, racket, opponent etc)
Factor 1 & 2 are variable from racket to racket. Of course, a bus is definitely slower than a sport car.
1. Let me do some calculations;
With the measuring method Yonex used for their marketing, i.e. 3cm from hitting, if TBH could make 421Km/h, then with the same method, what speed can FHF make?
I assume, on average, the top players can make 310Km/h at maximum in play (if you want to check this, see the videos of 2005/6 WC).
Then, the equation is simple: 310:421 = 322: X
The calculation says that, under the same environment and equipment, FHF could make at least "437Km/h".
2. If you see the slow motion video on the Yonex site (Kawamae's shot), you can check the shuttlecock, in 3cm, stays with its feathers shrunken right after the hitting, which gives far faster speed.
When you measure the speed of a tennis serve, they measure the time elapsed during the complete flight from the hitting to the baseline. I understand we use different type of "ball" in badminton. So, we might need to define the measurement method for the speed "officially" to understand and compare exactly how much fast our sports is.
To take account the characteristics of birds, we may define the speed with various measures such as:
- the momentary speed; speed during the distance of 3cm or 15cm
- the speed to the net
- the speed to the court of opponents
- the speed to the baseline
3. The Speed War might be ignited among the vendors;
- LiNing might do the same thing with FHF, (Wow, 444Km/h)
- Victor might do it through JJS. (Hey, over 450Km/h, super-human record!)
