i doubt MAS will deliver as big in the SEA games.
with INA at full strength, it will be difficult.

Not just INA, THA too especially in the women's and mixed section. And let's not forget China-powered SIN. They won the team event in 2003.

Even we got beaten in football against Vietnam already.

Yes, agree. Challenge in SEA Games is greater than SSMFs...........for MAS.:p

In summary

The heading of this thread says it all. Why and how some people either refused or worst still, unable to see the facts, frankly it is beyond me. I cant help them.

Today, we took 3 out of 3. It should be 4/4, had our WR1 MD KKK/TBH didnt slipped ... thats another story for another day.

There is no reason why we should not win in JB, we are after all the host. And as the host we enjoyed home advantage. Coupled with a field that is severely weakened, there is no reason why we must not win at home. If we cant win at home, competing against a weakened field, how can we consider ourselves as a major badminton power?? And why is this so hard for certain segment of people to understand ... it is beyond me. I mean it is ok if one refused/unable to understand this thread but to take the personal route, I guess I got to accept there are people out there who just dont know how to react when they come across alternative opinions/views.

As for the matches today:

LCW, is still a little unsteady especially in the 2nd set when PSH closed the gap with a string of points won. I would say the mental side of the game, LCW is still pretty suspect.

WMC, expected to win la.

CEH/WPT, expected to win also la. No fight la.

In view of all the responses and double teaming, here's a malay pantun I would like to share;

Apa guna kepuk di ladang
Kalau tidak berisi padi
Apa guna berambut panjang
Kalau tidak berani mati

Guruh berdentum bumi bergegar
Ayam jaguh sedang bersabung
Jangan cakap sahaja berdegar
Hulur senjata kita bertarung

Limau bentan di tepi tingkap
Budak-budak melempar burung
Harimau di hutan lagi kutangkap
Inikan pula cicak mengkarung

;)

this is a good news for the hard core malaysian boleh fans to get his pizza delivered;)

..MAS, through LCW, WMC and the former #1 WD pair managed to win the big prized-cheques and fulfilled Pemuda's "Malaysia MUST deliver" campaign...
Now, up next is the SEA Games...Will the MAS squad deliver, once again, or will they just sit and enjoy their big prize winning cheques??

lets see if the hard core malaysia bolehian open a thread during sea games
