Non-Yonex alternative to NBG98?

Unforgiven

New Member
Hi,

my strings broke on my first NS9900 so I thought I could try some new, non-Yonex strings on it. I'm looking for something similar to it (I normally use NBG98@27lbs), or maybe closer to Aerobite. They must be available online as we don't have much choices around here, sadly. :(

Any suggestions?

I found NBG98 lovely for smashing but not so great for control. LN1 in the same boat. Adidas P68 thicker, also powerful, enough texture to get control, for me.
Happy testing!

Give Toalson ION 65 a go. Pretty cheap here in the UK. Not sure on durability, since I haven't given this a long play test.
Decent string, can't remember why I didn't pick this long term, but it might've been down to the fact I had 2 reels of LN1 left, rather than any performance reasons.
