Dear all, as attached. Anyone have experience with sore like I do when
    1) doing intensive footwork training?
    2) mainly pressed them and will have that kinda ‘blue-black ache’ sore?

And which are the likely causes? My foot are unconditioned? Shoes too tight? (in fact pretty comfortable without abrasion, and my foot don’t have noticeable movement

    Thanks for sharing.

PS: To me, it’s not those sharp pain which are unbearable. More towards sore.

I wonder if the arch support of your shoes is either a little too high or positioned a bit too posterior.

Hi, thanks for responding. I’m using Yonex Power Cushion Eclipsion Z Wide. Original insole.
Is my issue a common issue among players?

PS: Regarding wide model, lately, I start to think my feet isn’t wide foot after watching some YT as people shared that if all of my other shoes aren’t wide or have any form of custom-made shoes required, I should just be normal foot.

I don’t if it’s common but where you indicated just looks to be a spot where i had pain from a poorly placed arch support. Try other shoes. If still feels bad, consult an orthoptiste/pedorthist.

If they problem does arise from shoe fit, the best thing you could do is find an honest orthotist/podiatrist who could analyse your specific gait, arch, etc and suggest an insole or even just a better fitting shoe.
Or see a doctor and see if there is something medical wrong with your foot.

Hope that you find some relief.…. :)

Thanks, I guess is the shoes. I have no issue with running (with other shoes).
Going to change to Victor shoes and see how it goes.
I sprained my ankle lately with that same shoes. That said, it’s my first time in my badminton history haha.
